Hello my fellow clampers!
I have a concern regarding the pump (or lack thereof) I get when I'm clamped. I'm used to getting virtually no measurable expansion when I'm doíng generic girthwork, but to my dismay I noticed my clamped girth wasn't much better, either (this was the first time I measured my clamped girth). I could muster up an expansion that took me from my unclamped midshaft girth of 5.3'' to a measily 5.5'', and that was only for a couple of seconds. Most of the time when I'm clamped (even though everything looks all nice and puffy) the measurement stays right at my unclamped circumference.
I'm hearing about guys getting .5" or even .75" expansions, so naturally I'm a bit worried.
Does anyone have any advice/insight on how crucial the expansion is? And also how long one should hold the expanded state before easing up/releasing the clamp? I REALLY want my 5.5" of midshaft girth before next summer, so I'd truly appreciate any certain knowledge on whether or not I'm wasting my time if my expansions are this poor.
