I lost 140 pounds in under 4 months. If you look at the Miami beach interview of me I was 280 pounds 4 months later, in the Channel 4 special I was 140 pounds. This was all due to starving myself and exerting tons of activity. Once I burned out all the weight returned.

i have done this for 1 week now and it kicks ass.

you get to realize some things from this.

like:

your weight jumps up and down alot (it just does)

so like stocks you need to find a curve (it can go up and down but it needs to go slowly down in total)

and you get to see the results of your bad habbits and your good habbits like me for example:

sunday i went out to the cinema. ate candy and drank a coke. the day after my weight was a lot higher than the other days.
lets just say 0.5 kg.

now with this knowledge. when i stand up in the morning and look at the weight and i have gained. i know the cinema candy is not a good idea today,

i get control 100%

another great thing!

when you have dropped weight for some time. it will start to stagnate.

and at the same time you will start to have sexy dreams about carbs. (i always dream about pasta and bread for some reason i must be italian)

this is your subconscious mind telling you that you have lost alot of fat and now the metabolism is being tuned down.

what can we use that for?

fill it up. what happens is the metabolism goes up again so really. you will lose weight from eating junk. how awesome is that?


I got you. My biggest issue is night time. I crave the carbs and sugar so fucking much and I end up eating everything in the hhouse. Granted it is all protein and vegetables but I will eat it all! My son went shopping for me, for the week, a few days ago and I ate all of it in one day! My appetite is out of control and I have become lazy in my training. I really need to get my act together. when I weighed myself today I have gained another 5 pounds bringing me from 215 to 220 now. Very depressing. Please encourage me, help me, I want this so bad!

Such kind of diet will be useless if you cannot stick to it for the next 2 years.

DLD. Ur main issue from what I see is u eat at night which is the worst for weight loss......now what u can do is replace basis with good ones at night but they should be yummy. Lol
I have EXACT same habit of eating all the food right before sleeping ....but i realzied that if I fill my stomach with roasted chickpeas ...it is full of fibre to cut fat and makes u full tummy very fast and makes u thirsty. So water intake also increase .... 2 medeiros at once
Eat loads of fruits at night if ur hungry ...eat dry fruits , milk also fills ur stomach and makes u sleepy ....asphagarus in glass of milk is good for penis as well as u can see a video in the YouTube channel I sent you ....

I did insanity asylum workout of Shan T at home ....1 hour everyday. VERRY motivational and u can do it at home itself .....I also got a bit in shape and I are as much as I want but it don't increase my weight but eating a lot only reduced my rate of weight loss. .....so eating rights increase it.
That's the only way of u looks at it .....but remember ur workout should be very insane to lose weight ....1 hour of madness in Shan t workout

1993 lost weight . Now 2015 my weight now is 82 kgs. I did not gain back very fast.

I know you don't want to give up on the marijuana and you and I know that the marijuana is the main reason for the large appetite. I suggest you quit smoking at night, smoke in the morning instead because I'm sure you don't have a large appetite in the morning.
 
Include protein and vegetables in every meal as standard and eat every 3 to 4 hours

i recently quit smoking hashish....i actually wanna quit smoking today so i reach my size goal fast
 
DLD i actually think you should turn up the intake of the good stuff over the whole day. those night cravings comes from the body not getting enough through the day. so try and add more good protein and fat to the daily intake. fill yourself up. and if you absolutely need to night eat. do it in avocados and some sort of meat.

ohh 1 more thing that might be helpfull!

grape juice! this is still on trial for me.

but i read that it balances your insuline levels making you crave less for carbs. and it helps with weightloss in general!

now this has to be from fruits not concentrate.

but try and add 1 cup of this to the last meal of the day. might be the trick to get you away from the cravings
 
ohh 1 more thing.

your weight is bouncy and i honestly believe that the muscles do alot of the mind fucking of you right now.

could you do body measurements for some time?

i mean if your waist shrinks and the weight increases. then we are doing good stuff at the moment :)

Excellent thing to do, so simple but I never thought about it. I will pick up a measuring tape today and get solid measurements. I was looking at my body in the mirror yesterday and even thoughI have gained weight (more than when I started) I look really muscular. I am 220 from my last weight about 4 days ago. The goal is 175-180. I love the idea of grape juice. I have been using a mix of orange juice, vegetable juice and water which helped a lot with cravings. i will stop at the grocery tonight and grab some meats, tuna and grape juice plus a bunch of vegetables. Thanks again for keeping me in the game.
 
so my own weightloss stagnated completely and i was wondering what the hell was going on.

got a grip on a fat tweaser tp check my fat%.

i ussually weigh around 80- 82 kg when im very lean (below 10% fat)

but after my new calculations. my 10% treshhold will be around 85 kg. basicly i have gained 5-3kg of lean muscle mass over the winter (been training 6 times a week for some time now. and even when injuried i still did what i could in the gym)

and i could see in the mirror that there was alot more muscle. but the only thing everybody else could see was that my six pack was gone= i must be fat. when people keep telling you that you start to believe it.

so now i only need to cut a very few kilos down. and these last kilos always have to be removed slowly not to lose hard earned muscles.

im gonna be real pretty in a couple of months :)
 
85 kg with 10 % body fat is pretty sick..you got a lot of muscle mass.how tall are you?

Wow, I remember cutting routines, I had to be extra careful during these times to not loose muscle while cutting. So much dedication and work. I look up to you Brother and hope to be in your position soon.

Professional personal trainer with education within the field of nutrition here. I didnt read the entire thread but I want to chime in anyway.

Black coffee may reduce appetite. It is also really healthy in many ways and something I actually recommend for your health. Some people are worried about the cholesterol but looking at the mass of studies there is really nothing to be worried about. So without going into further detail black coffee is good for you. Just make sure to not drink coffee at least 4 hours prior to sleep.

You also mention skipping lunch. I would advice against that. When you eat breakfast you break the fast that you've been in all night. Once you break the fast, and especially if you break it with a high carbohydrate meal, you will not react well if you go without food for too long. This is normal for people who depend on carbohydrates as their main fuel source. Instead if you do want to skip meals I'd advice you to skip breakfast. This is often referred to as intermittent fasting and has shown to have many health benefits and is also very effective at reducing your total daily calories.

Since I dont know what diet you follow I cant really make more recommendations than that but based on those two things you mentioned I hope you will take this into account :)
