I've started dieting after reading enough information on this forum. I want to be taking coffee in the morning after my breakfast and I also intend skipping lunch some times if coffee can reduce my appetite. My question is, does coffee reduce my food craving?

Yes it will help get u fit, but if you add cream and sugar it's not really helping

Caffeine in general will. Pure caffeine pills are the best way to go. No extra calories and very inexpensive. Usually around $4 for a bottle of 80, 200mg pills. I suggest splitting them with a pill cutter.

replace all your bad foods with good foods like fruits and dry fruitsa and liquids
brother you need a nutritionist if your gonna get into so much details..............the changes you have to make are in your mind......all you have to think is
GOOD WORKOUT
NO SHITTY FOOD
GOOD DIET
GOOD SLEEP

and you will be there before you know it........

I'm already dieting pogzee. The coffee I bought contains milk and sugar so I had to return it. Thanks for the advice acromegaly. Stillwantsmore should I buy just caffeine pills or I should buy coffee that doesn't have milk and sugar in it? When I'm making my oatmeal, the Dano milk I bought yesterday contains some sugar will it be bad for weight loss? Should I dispose the milk since it contains sugar?

i agree sugar is bad for weight loss.....but if you totally quit it your body gets usedto without it.....i realized i quit drinking milk and when i did after months then i realized my body doesn accept it....leading to lactose intolerancey........so some amount of sugar should be taken...dont completely cut all the things out....have but little quanitty in a day

caffeine is a stimulant, so yes it will suppress appetite depending on dose. It also is a thermogenic, meaning it burns calories. however, people rarely use it alone for this reason and if they do, the doses are high.

As for sugar, dont just get rid of things because they contain sugar. sugar isn't inherently bad. all carbohydrates are sugars. milk is fine to have, no reason to cut it out unless you consume copious amounts.

get your nutrition on point and worry about the little things after

The thing about dieting and loosing weight for me is really all about cardio exercise and eating frequent small, healthy meals through the day.

I'm eating well now and jogging for 30 minutes every morning. I eat twice daily, morning and evening.

I agree with you but I will be careful with it.

im not too sure how knowledgeable you are about training and nutrition, but for most beginners regardless of goal my main advice is to just change what you're doing.

it looks like you have changed your lifestyle, with the added exercise and calorie restriction, which is great and should be good enough on its own to shift pounds. i dont think you really have to worry about using caffeine and/ or other thermogenics unless you want to gt to very low bodyfat, or you just need a little extra energy.

I am not longer interested in taking the coffee. I will just stick to cardio and my new life style.

I miss the days of being able to legally by OTC Ephedrine. Sigh. Ephedrine+caffiene+Aspirin aka the "ECA Stack" was just about the best combo for fat burning. Of course, you can still legally buy everything, you just have to import the Ephedrine.

Well, I'm sticking to dieting and cardio exercises for now.

I would try to get the meals up to 4 times a day, small meals, just to keep your metabolism up.
