My carb intake is very low but not completely carb-free. A few times this week I had bread, maybe 3. Other than that it has been straight Protein, vegetables and some fruit (not much because of the sugars).
 
Update and hopefully I can get some good feedback. I have been on the diet and HIIT routine for 3 weeks now and I lost 6 pounds Now I am not sure if I should be disappointed or celebrate. I am so used to dropping weight so quickly when I become manic that it is hard to know how much weight loss is good. I have stuck to the diet with a few exceptions, maybe once a week I will go to Taco Bell and have a couple burritos but other than that I have been on point. Maybe this is just how it goes for someone that is not manic. Any insight on this would be awesome.

Youre good DLD,a person loses around 0,5-1 kg per week ( 1-2 pounds ).More that that,you either lose a lot of liquid from your body or you lose a lot of muslce mass.6 pounds in 3 weeks its very good,it means youre losing fat only.No need to worry ;) . Also a cheat meal once in a while is good idea

ell I got some bad news today and I am completely confused on what the deal is. As I said I weighed myself at the doctors and I lost 6 pounds. Today, at my PT appointment I weighed myself on another scale and it said I gained 5 pounds from when I stated. When I started this diet and exercise routine I was 215, at the doctors I was 209 and at PT I was 220...WTF? What is the deal with this. Can scales be off that much or could I have gained 11 pounds in 3 days? I am so lost with this.:(
 
Always! Use the same scale for measurements! And always do it in the morning after morning peeing.

The biggest effect of this diet happens when you deprive your body for sugar. So i believe some of the reason for this not to be extremely fast is because of that.

Another thing. As you mentioned yourself. Your muscles are popping out.

Obviously if your muscles grows. That will be seen on the weight aswell.

3 weeks 6 pound is not extremely fast. No but it is a very good phase (especially considering muscle growth) and

There is 54 weeks in a year. Thats 108 pounds in a year from now.

So instead of bashing yourself down with the: i hoped it was faster! And i have done it faster before!

Then ask yourself this:
Can you maintain these changes for 10 years? Because in that case this is what is going to make you fit for good. Just what you do right now.

Remember mate. We are not looking for a 1 week omg wtf! instant wait loss. We are looking for a new lifestyle. In 5 years from now i dont want you to be looking at great ways to lose weight i want you to be fit continuesly!

This is not a sprint it's a marathon. Just like PE :)

Thanks, I needed to hear this as I have become very disappointed in myself. I will continue as you have stated and bring myself to the understanding that this is a life change more than a fad diet. I have another question; I have been very hungry and I have stuck with the diet but my question is how much can I eat in calories per day?
 
if you stay away from starchy carbs. milk. sugar salt and flour. you cannot put on weight. he actually attempt doing it in the 4 hour body and while his intake was ridiculously high. he still managed to lose weight.

so don't worry about that :)

if you really want carbs take them 3 hours before a workout. as it will help you work harder.

and never eat them at the evening

if i asked you to not eat anything. only drink water.

and do interval training 3 times a day.

in 1 week you will lose like 15 pounds.

and in 1 months you will be dead.

this whole concept.

what i want you to do. is to change your ways from now on!

just a tiny step in the right direction is what we are looking for.

what comes easy goes easy!

so please. remember this! this is not the ego that needs to be fed.

this is your body! we need to teach you how to control it.

and this new method i am testing is fucking kick ass!

seriously! you need to try this out as it gives you an inside of what happens in your body!

every morning first thing when you wake up take a piss and measure yourself.

and then right down the diet from the day before (just special things like went for burgers with andy etc)

i have done this for 1 week now and it kicks ass.

you get to realize some things from this.

like:

your weight jumps up and down alot (it just does)

so like stocks you need to find a curve (it can go up and down but it needs to go slowly down in total)

and you get to see the results of your bad habbits and your good habbits like me for example:

sunday i went out to the cinema. ate candy and drank a coke. the day after my weight was a lot higher than the other days.
lets just say 0.5 kg.

now with this knowledge. when i stand up in the morning and look at the weight and i have gained. i know the cinema candy is not a good idea today,

i get control 100%

another great thing!

when you have dropped weight for some time. it will start to stagnate.

and at the same time you will start to have sexy dreams about carbs. (i always dream about pasta and bread for some reason i must be italian)

this is your subconscious mind telling you that you have lost alot of fat and now the metabolism is being tuned down.

what can we use that for?

fucking cheat day man!

fill it up. what happens is the metabolism goes up again so really. you will lose weight from eating junk. how awesome is that?

i think thinking too much about your weight is also gonna prolong the loss of it.....its better you focus on the things so your brain is wroking more also like your muscles...brain burns calories too...lol

and once a week you get to go all out on bad food....lol

I don't agree on any of those concepts! Work hard and starve? Seen that tryed that worked fast! You know what also worked fast? The weight coming back. When you do that you basicly rape your metabolism telling your body to regain the weight as fast as possible.

The whole problem with the DIET solution. Its a money machine lose weight regain it so you can try the all new amazing diet! Only 459$ right now!

And yes be happy live a good life exercise etc. Is good stuff.

But just like any other aspect your body tryes to learn a conscious action must have been taken place before the subconscious mind can do the action for you.

We need to do reprogramming of the mind to get other results.

What goes in will come out. We need to change the mindset. I am sorry there simply is no other way.

Its also the reason why i keep coaching in all other aspects than the actual eating/working out.

Eventually dld is gonna do this on his own. (If i know him right. This will also be part of his coaching)

We need to plant those seeds. So that they will grow up and become hard earned results.

Besides! Working on your body is fun! Its like a huge ass mmorpg
 
What im trying to say its : I eat 3-4 meals a day,pretty much fish,chicken breast,vegies,potatoes etc.im used to eat a lot of junk food,and my body is keep asking me for more..and at this time,its better to ignore the hunger..if you eat everytime you are hungry,it may be too much food..if i listen to my stomach i should eat 4000-5000 calories a day.Right now im eating under 2000 calories a day but my stomach is keep growling.So ignore the feeling works the best for me.
 
STARVE and work hard. In 1993 was 94 kgs , waist 40 inches. Was in class 12 th. summer holidays April may and June 10 days.

Daily routine morning 10 Kms jogging, going to school by bicycle 14 Kms . In the evening exercise cycle 10 Kms. This routine for 70 days.

Food morning 1 glass of milk and chapati stuffed with sprouted Bengal gram. Perfect protein and energy. In school at 11:30 sandwich without butter or Bengal gram or bread with curd in indian style. Back home by 2:30. Lunch lots lots of green salad, boiled vegetable and one chapati and lots of curd. Evening milk and bread. Night cold milk and just toasted bread with salad or one chapati.

Added lots lots lots of spinach to my diet because I was becoming pale. SOO much spinach that my poo was green in colour. My skin started to glow more.

In 70 days my waist was 28 inches weight 69 kgs. I never ate any sugar , no candy, no sweets, no rice , no potatoe, never went to any restaurant. Let me find my pictures I will post them as a proof.
