Seems like I (have been for probably two years) go through a cycle (very short actually) of training, then fairly easily over train.

I have tried manual, Bib Hanger, vac-hanger.

Now I use a cock ring that seems to create soreness, so I would call it training. Especially since I didn't do anything for almost a month because of not getting the best erections that I could have been getting.

So, I would call the cock ring a training tool, like a minor version of clamping, [thread=32124]as I said here[/thread].

Anyway, what I am wondering is, should I just take a real break (defined as 3 mos, right) or continue on this cycle. I have only added 1/8" over the past 2 yrs probably and that was with the off and on training, of training for a bit (was in a relationship and could only train sometimes), then over do it a little, then have to take time off. Sometimes the off time is a few days, wks or a month, or so.

The 1/8" L gain was noticed on 4/25/07, with no gains since.

What should I do? Advice, please.

edit: I am thinking of adding pumping (I already have one, surprise, since I have done most of the major things) to the cock ring routine. I also use the vac-hanger still.

I am thinking that pumping could get me through the not so good erections (and add to stress in a more gentle way, if not over done), since it is an erection aid.

Anyway, seeking advice. Bib's approach to just soldier on, doesn't seem to work for me. I just get a massive case of limp dick. But I don't know if I am doing enough. What I really need is to find the middle ground.

It doesn't sound like you're doing enough.... Flaccid stretching (hanging, vac-hanger, manual stretching) shouldn't cause limp dick. You should be able to stretch all day without ever experiencing over-training symptoms. Limp-dick is usually a symptom of doing too much girth work or erect work be it jelqing, clamping, or your cockring routine..

I am serious man, there was a point where I wasn't doing any jelqing along side the length routine at all (right now, I am not either). And there would be periods of not getting good erections.

Nothing bad against Bib, but using his hanger used to make my glans numb enough that I could barely feel jacking off or fucking. He gave me all sorts of private advice throught email, but still, his hager made my glans numb. That is why I use the vac-hanger now.

Anyway, I guess this all goes to the we are all different point, since stretching/hanging could tend to make me not get good erections, and I couldn't use a Bib hanger.

The only problem with the Bib Hanger is that setting it up is critical... if you don't get the set-up right, it will be very uncomfortable and cause the issues you described. I think alot of people have given up on their Bib and sold it off cuz they had a hard time getting it to work for them. If you're glans was getting numb then you definitely didn't have it set-up correctly.

Man, maybe you should start looking at YOUR equipment. Not the shit that you are using. How far into Penis Enlargement did this start?

Like I said, Bib, himself, was giving me set up advice.

Dunno? Wish I did, since I thought the Bib was basically a clamp that you could hang from. Pretty much a 2-for-1, since I noticed that I was a little thicker when I used it.

So you're saying that you never experienced not gettting good wood from stretching (or over stretching)?

It most certainly can. I wore a vac extender and hanger all the time for months and it wreaked havoc on my tunica (not in a good way).

No, can't say that I've ever had that problem. In fact, it gets annoying since a lot of the time I stretch I get wood in the middle of stretching and have to stop until it goes away or bust out some dry jelqs. And I stretch for about 30 minutes a day 7 days a week.

Damn!

See, after all this time, I am wondering if being able to do a lot means that you have to do a lot to get gains.

Or if having a tendency to over-train easily means that you should be able to gain fairly easy (if you find the right goove and don't over do it).

I think the constant bombardment that Bib recommends is too much for me. I don't know that I think less is more, completely, but it might be for me. And/or I just need to find the right amount between too much and not enough.

I'm more inclined to recommend a deconditioning break for any situation where erection quality has been compromised on some level. If you had problems with the setup with the bib hanger then I'd say some of the problems could be stemming from that. I'd say it's best to take some time off and come back using the newbie routine and not worry about "doing too much/too little" but try to stretch your penis a little bit longer each and every day. If you feel so inclined to do so add in some light jelqing in the evenings to promote erection health and increase circulation.

Personally I would listen to what millionman says. Take a break if you need to and then come back but hang up the hanging for a while. Try more manual stretching. I would also recommend a Power Assist for some intense stretching.
