I'm posting this thread I started in another forum on Wed Jun 11, 2003 -- I think it can help newbies....
Is Penis Enlargement for real?
Obviously, the first time anyone is confronted with Penis Enlargement, they have to be deeply suspicious - I know I was. I thought this was some elaborate scam, and that people were playing along (like the Emperor's new clothes), each trying to "out-do" the other with tall tales. I thought it was bullshit, and thought so for a while....until I started seeing some gains. I noticed that there were other forums around the Net, with other guys all posting gains & helping one another - and NOT asking for any money. I also ran into an old school mate who told me he added 2" to penis from doing "milking exercises & stretching."
My 2nd Question
Okay, so Penis Enlargement seems to be valid - but will it work for ME? Some guys seemed to be making big, rapid gains - an inch or so in only a month or two. While I struggled at first, I seemed to only gain girth, but very little length. So maybe this stuff only works for a lucky few? Great, for them; lousy for me.
My Conversion
I have now gained a full inch in erect length & more than that in erect girth. At 38 years of age, my penis is the biggest it's EVER been in my entire life. And I'm not finished yet.
What Advice Can I Give?
First, Penis Enlargement is NOT a hoax - nor is it any guarantee. The results truly vary. I have read of guys gaining 3" in one year....even 2.75" in several months. I've also read of guys Penis Enlargement'ing an entire year & gaining only a half inch. And, yes, I've see posts from a few fellows who claimed to have gained nothing at all.
Can't the same be said of weight training? I mean, steroid users aside, we all progress differently. I remember taking my bench from 180 lbs to 300 lbs in about 6.5 months. And then to 350 in about 3 more months. It then took me another full year to hit 400 lbs, but after that, the gains were really slow....taking me to about 435, with a full pause on the chest. Yet, I knew guys who never benched 250 lbs. Could they say that weight training was a "scam"? How?
The Keys to Penis Enlargement Success
So why do some gain quickly & others gain slowly....and still others, not at all? Many factors. But let's examine a few.
(1) Length of ligaments. If you have short tight ligaments in your penis (often evidenced by a high angle of erection & general tightness if you attempt to move your penis downward while fully erect), then you have a considerable bit of "inner penis" which can be stretched out fairly quickly - by doing lots of downward stretches. I bet that this is key in most of the rapid gains we read about. However, if you have longer, looser ligaments (often evidenced by a low angle of erection), then you have less potential gains at your disposal from ligament stretching....you need to focus on tunica stretching - which is slower & tougher to achieve.
(2) Intensity. Simply put, you need to gradually increase intensity (& volume) in both your jelqing & stretching exercises. I know all the manuals say to pull gently & feel no pain - but that's strictly for newbies. You need to up the intensity over time, or you're wasting your time.
(3) Workout Frequency. You need to experiment with this. Don't just copy some other guy's routine. Find out what works best for YOU. 1 on, 1 off; 2 on, 2 off; 2 on, 1 off; 1 on, 2 off; every other day; 5 on, 2 off, etc., etc. Don't be afraid to experiment! Or you'll never find your optimum frequency.
(4) Your General Fitness. Strive to get healthier, more fit. This can only help your Penis Enlargement efforts - better oxygenation of blood, waste removal, hormonal levels, etc., etc.
(5) Avoid (Abuse of) Substances Which Hinder Your Penis Enlargement. Too much alcohol will hurt hormonal levels. Too much caffeine (& nicotine) will constrict blood vessels, hurt circulation. Also, cigarrettes kill vitamin C & other antioxydants in the body - releasing free radicals which will damage the very cells you're trying to build up through Penis Enlargement!
(6) Those who persevere will achieve victory. If you quit, your penis will never grow - ever. In fact, as you age it will gradually shrink somewhat. Whether you gain an inch in 1 month - or in 16 months, it's growth. Stay with Penis Enlargement, & train smart, & you should make gains. Sometimes it takes a while for any gains to kickstart. I've read about guys who were only a month away from giving up (after many months of fruitless effort) when the gains suddenly came. Had they given up, they never would have made any gains.
Lingering Questions
I obviously don't know how much more I will gain. Will I go on to get 2", 2.5", 3 inches???? Who knows? I consider myself a work in progress, I will just have to wait & see. Also, are these gains truly permanent if I completely stop Penis Enlargement? I mean, "permanent" as in 'for the rest of my life'? Again, I'm not sure. But Penis Enlargement, for me, is a journey. I'll worry about the exact destination as I feel myself nearing it.
Best wishes.

P.S., Do this for yourself, for your own peace of mind - not for any woman, or to post your "success" in some online forum, etc.
