That is up to you. I like to center it right on my pubic bone. If I go to the left or the right I always end up with inconsistent measurements, they are always longer:) but inconsistent.

UPDATE:

I am finding it increasingly difficult to incorporate my hanging sets, it seems like the extender is healing the attachment point for using my bib. Granted i am attaching it incorrectly, as my head is rotated at about 45 degrees to the left. (the entire shaft is twisted in the hanger).

I really want to ditch the hanger and just use the extender, but at the same time i dont wanna mess up any progress I made...(no gains yet however)

I think i will take the weekend off using the hanger and see how just extending works for me.

CANT WAIT TO BUY THE DAMN LM!! PUT ME ON THE PREORDER LIST LOL:cool:

Stop! Breath! Let the frustration go. Come back to this when you feel able. What is the biggest difficulties you are having? Let us try to take each item and find a solution.

Your problems may not be as bad as you think. A twist of up to 45 degrees depending on where the hanger is situated on the shaft is not uncommon. I have good experience with this. Tell what what you're feeling, what your issues are, and I will try my best to help you.

WELL this BLOWS! as soon as I start making good progress with my size genetics, the damn tension screws get stripped..I'll be sending it in to the quality control team tommorow, so i looks like i'll be out of the extender for a good week+

During this short break ill be doing lots of manual stretching, and trying to see if I can get the bib to work ONE LAST TIME.

I am attaching about 1.5" from the corona, and I would attach a bit closer, but it does slip during the sets due to the fact that I am attaching it semi-sideways. It really is the only way for my head not to become numb from the twisting. (ironic huh? to minimize the pain, I twist the head even more.) I sits about 75 degrees to the left. I wrap with SS material, and ace wrap. Both 8 inches long.

This week I will be removing the gel liner to see if that helps at all with my attachment issues.

It is not slipping because you are attaching it sideways, it is slipping because your adjustments are not correct. 75 degrees to the left is very bad - you shouldn't hang that way.

If your head is getting numb, it is probably because the hanger slipped down to the head, pressing against the dorsal nerve. When attaching 1.5 inches from the coronal ridge, tighten about 1/4 of the way, and pulse push gently. You should feel the shoulders of the glans beginning to form. Continue tightening until you are about half way there, and pulse push again. By this point it should be obvious where the hanger is going to be seated. Make sure you press down on the front of the wrap with your thumb, and pull the bottom of the hanger upward at the same time with your other fingers, while keeping a forward tension as you finish tightening to discomfort. There should be a gap of about 1/2" to 1" between the coronal ridge and the front edge of the hanger. Could be less, but there must always be a good gap.

If the hanger is sliding to the head, then you either need to add more wrap, or move the adjustment nuts in, so that the hanger will be tighter. Why are you only using 8 inches of wrap? What is the width of your wrap?

I really appreciate your advice cg1, but your response is full of knowledge i already understand..take a look at my thread on bib's forums http://www.bibhanger.com/forums/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1695(if your curious) and you will see that I have tried for many months to cure the twisting. I wish I could hang more, but the twist is just a friggen nuisance to using the bib..

This is what brought me here to mos the most. I figured using the length master for hanging would improve my situation. I'm sure it will take time to master it as well, but at least the twisting will be F***king gone. LM brought me here, but DLD got me to stay:cool:

I really feel like there is something to his SRT theory, and will more than likely participate 100% when I have all the tools necessary. Ill make a log and post updates to show any gains *crosses fingers*

Listen, once you gain some experience, and you know what you're doing as far as wrapping and attaching the hanger, the gains that can be made are endless. You are giving up because you don't have the patience for it, but you are going to regret not sticking with it. In a years time, you'll gain a little bit of length by doing manuals, but you'll reflect back to the day you quit hanging and think to yourself, "imagine the gains I could have made by now, hanging 30 pounds".

It can be a real bitch-and-a-half learning how the damn hanger works for you, but all you could do in the meantime is just keep experimenting. Change the hanger settings, add wrap, refine your technique. All penises have the same goddamn anatomy. It is YOU who needs to understand how it works, and make it work. When you hit a plateau with manuals, like I have, you're going to quickly realize that in order to gain more, you are going to need more force than what your hands can provide. Also more traction. So don't throw in the towel on hanging yet. Learn it, gain from it.

If you need any help with your hanging, ask me. Ask other hangers as well, experienced ones who know what they are doing.

About the twisting: do as I said above, and see how that works for you. Follow the directions exactly. Try and keep the head as straight as possible. However, please know that a twist of up to 45 degrees at times is completely normal, and it should not discourage you. You will still gain the same way.

Ask questions if you need to. Good luck.

^^^^Good Shit! Very happy with your help with the guys and the time and thought you put into your answers. I hope all the gains you desire come to you with ease!

Lovemeat,

Did it ever occur to you, that maybe the extender is giving you attachment point issues? If you're extending many hours, it can cause stinging at the attachment point, and that is probably the reason you cannot wear the Bib comfortably.

With the Bib, you have to condition soft tissues before you hang. So wearing an extender is probably a bad news for your attachment point. If I were you, I would get rid of the damn extender, and focus on hanging ONLY. Just hang more sets.

*condition soft tissues as you hang, in order to be able to hang more weight.

Loved your response man. Thanks for it, really! Well to be honest this is probably more of a break from the Bib than anything else. Tomorrow I'll try to get it right, again. I don't suppose posting up my wrap and all that everyday wouldn't help me.

So be on the look for an update. First things first. PCE out to that gel liner.

Also, when I emailed bib pics of my cock, he said I had a low exit point, and probably couldn't gain much from the lower angles anymore (gained .35) Therefore, I suppose the tunica is the next step. It's the reason I purchased the extender as I am hoping that the gains can come from there...

What do you think about the extender effects on the tunica, or in gains in general? for hangers who have had over 10 lbs hangin' of their dicks, do you think the extender is even worth my time? (if I can't get the bib to work..)

I do not have much experience with extenders. I wore one for a brief period of time, a couple of years ago, and gained nothing. Extenders stretch the outer shaft only, and so in order to make significant gains, you must wear one for 8+ hours a day, every day, for years, depending on how much you want to gain. That is more than half of the time that you are awake, every single day. Can you handle living that way? I certainly couldn't. But everyone is different.

A low LOT doesn't mean that your susp. ligs have been fully stretched out yet. Even though gains may be thin in your case, doing dedicated lig work, it is important to get those ligs out of the way (an LOT of 6), so that when you switch to tunica work, all of the force will be on the tunica. So it is not just about making gains hanging at the lower angles. It is also about making more efficient gains when hanging at the upper angles.

The max force that an extender can provide is somewhere in the neighbourhood of six pounds. This is why you must compensate for that by adding time, which is why you must wear one for 8-12 hours per day. With hanging, you START with 5 pounds ... see the difference? If you can find the time to hang 2-3 hours per day (compared to 8-12 hours extending), and especially when you get to higher weights, it beats wearing an extender - there's no doubt about that. You cannot replace extending with hanging, it is nowhere near as effective, as far as gains are concerned.

However, I am not trying to change your mind - you will do what you want to do. Obviously hanging is not for everyone. All I am saying is that you should at least give it a chance. It is worth the hassle to learn it in my honest opinion.

OKAY!! im having a bit of a EUREKA moment! So I decided to keep at it with the attachment issues I was having. I re watched the How to vid for hanging that SWM made, and now i think I have finally done it! I pulse pushed and played around for an hour till i finally was able to keep the head straight and lock it down. ( also removed the fucking gel liner)

The big problem is that IT HURTS LIKE HELL!! when it is complete locked down the pain is very intense, and i suppose its due to a new stress that the cc's aren't used to? I really don't know but I hope that the pain goes away within a couple of days to weeks. For now, I have done 2 sets with it at a very low weight, now I will begin my 3rd set but just with tightening to make the penis used to this type of compression. Beleive me I am in PAIN, but it goes away as soon as I take off the hanger.

CG1, without your advice....man, I probably would have stopped hanging, or continued hanging the wrong way. If this keeps up I am sure I could finally move up in weight eventually. I'll give another update tomorrow to let you guys know if I can replicate what I did today;)

Thanks for everything, cheers to you!

Lovemeat,

I am VERY HAPPY to hear that! Congratulation, man!

Now, just so you know, the head is not always going to be perfectly straight. As I've said before, do not get discouraged if it turns up to 45 degrees at times.

The only thing that I have a problem with is that you are feeling pain. PLEASE DO NOT HANG IN PAIN. You will not make better gains hanging in pain than not hanging in pain. You should be able to feel fatigue, and multi-task at the same time. If you cannot multi-task, and you catch yourself gritting your teeth, squeezing your hands, clock watching, etc, do yourself a favour and reduce the weight immediately, to a level that you are comfortable with. Under no circumstance should you fight it. Pain can result in injury, so do not be a hero.

Also, only tighten enough to support the amount of weight you wish to hang. Do not overdo it on the tightening. If you feel the compression of the hanger on your shaft, and it is not slipping down, there is no reason to tighten it more - it is doing its job for the amount of weight you are currently using. As you move up in weight, you will need to tighten more and more. Take it easy with the lighter weights, condition those soft tissues properly, so that you can eventually ang more and more weight. If your soft tissues are sore, reduce the weight. Just do what your body tells you, and you will be fine.

If you ever need help, just ask. Good luck.

You know what's funny DLD? It's that I went to bib's forums to ask for his help, and he would return with a response close to "yeah i get it, im just tired of your bitchin'..something along the lines of that.." I come here, and someone who really doesn't need to help me has gone out and really made me re-think about what I was doing. So yes this really is a brotherhood, and I just feel much more comfortable here than other place. Thanks again!

You really don't know how much this means to me, whatever happens in the future, at least I can say I overcame this bs problem I had with the twisting. I am sure other men will read this and understand that it can be fixed, just be patient. It has taken me 5 MONTHS to fix the problem. Now just like Cg1 said, it is time to recondition the soft tissues to hanging (here we go again lol). I am hoping to do this quickly though, because im sure that with the way i was hanging before, the tissues are conditioned somewhat.

I am going from hanging at about 75 degrees pointed to the left (or right) to hanging with the head perfectly straight! amazing. Also I have dropped the weight down to 5lbs from hanging 9lbs. I will condition slowly with 3 sets, but I am still using the extender for healing. (at least till I get to the higher weights.)

Ill keep updating you guys.
