Try to follow the baseline kegel first. Anywhere between 100 to 200 kegel-reverse kegels of 1 second hold, and around 50 to 75 sets for the 5 seconds hold. Don't go more than that. You are attempting to fix an EQ issue, not pelvic floor lockup for a healthy man.
