No need to get semi erect just dry jelq the area behind the wrap,all your trying to do is get some fresh blood into the shaft,you can also slap your dick against your thigh massage the head.the way i do BTB jelqs is simply grab the base with ok grip but grab under the balls as well,you can then jelq the area of shaft that runs from your ass up to your balls.

Exactly. Erection is also not as full as for regular jelqs.

With your thumb and forefinger together and pressing behind the balls with your inner penis between, do a jelquing motion from back (anus) to front (shaft or ballsack). Kegel before each jelq to get more blood for it. I`ve never done it regularly so I can´t really comment on it, but BIB often reccommends it.

Yes if dry jelqing,if part of a proper wet jelq session i swap hands each rep,bib may have a different way of doing it as ive never seen a discription of how to do them.
 
Bib, I have some really tough looking bruising on the forskin, underneath at the glans area. It doesn't hurt or anything, but sure looks awful. Should I worry about that? Should I wrap different? I am wrapping behind the glans and leaving some of the foreskin out in front of the wrapping? Hanging 10# now and still not feeling any fatigue. GS

Only you can determine when and how much time off you need. It depends on several factors, mainly the amount of intensity of hanging. But it does sound as if you are hanging effectively.

You have wrapping issues. First, I assume this is discoloration and not bruising.

I also assume the discoloration is directly in front of the beginning of the wrap. You probably have at least this area too tight, and perhaps all of the wrap too tight to allow for circulation. You must watch out for the wrapped area just in front of the hanger. You can test this after attaching the hanger, and before applying the weight. After attaching the hanger, strech out your shaft manually. Then, with your other hand, feel the wrap in the V formed by the two halves of the hanger coming together. This wrap should be soft and easy to puch in. Not tight.

The blood channels of the hanger will allow for some circulation, but if the wrap is too tight, it will defeat the blood channels of the hanger.
