X40 is definitely fun to play with. I need to find out a little more about what the best practices are, but I've been getting a 20 minute session in the mornings or occasionally before bed if I don't get up in time. Mostly, it seems like a nice full 'puffiness' for a while after.
Where my main limitation is, I think, is the tendon. I get to a certain point and it's like, "This far, no farther!" lol I've felt the base of the tendon pop a couple of times, it isn't pleasant but there's no pain either. Still working on a routine of stretching that out, in the mornings and each time I hit the restroom.
