I have gone eight months without beating off before. What happens is after a month it's no problem, you rarely get any more urges. However, the reason this is is because your nuts sort of "turn off" because they are not in use regularly. Your body puts the proteins to build other things. I guess it has to do with biological mating seasons. If you're not mating, you need the energy to be doing other things.
