I've looked into 5x5 but I'd have to tweak it because a bench and bar is the only thing my gym is missing. I'm trying to find a cheap one for the casa though. As for steroids, meh not really my thing. Kind of feel like I'd be just as good if I start eating healthy and a bunch + do a good mass gainer program. But seriously, as far as diet goes, to keep it as simple as possible, I do 1lb of meat a day minimum and 2 sweet potatoes. That's my bulking baseline. If you want macros, there's a lot of ratios. Here's a simple equation:
Total Calories = (Grams of Protein x 4) + (Grams of Carbohydrates x 4) + (Grams of Fat x 9)
So let's say you want to eat 3,500 calories a day... a nice, level bulking intake. Not too little, not too much. And you weigh 150 lbs.
3500 = 200 pro + 400 carbs + 113 fat... so 3500 = 800 cal from pro + 1600 cal from carbs + 1025 cal from fat
