VK thats sounded nasty, bet it gave you a scare.

Maxameyes, again a guy of 300lb dies from a hearattack,is it the roids fault or simply he was carrying to much weight and put to much strain on his heart.

Roids have a positive effect on conective tissue, why do you think so many atheletes test positive for nandralone, because its known to help with injuries, down side is it is detectable up to 18 months after use.

The reason people get injured are aas greatly increase strength,so caution needs to be used when increasing poundages, example first time i used test enanth i increased my curl weight by 30lb in 3 weeks,in hindsight that was a sili thing to do,i could easily have injured myself.

I posted this clip up before, its HBO real sports steroid special, its quite an eye opener and well worth a watch, you might need to down load it.

I hear ya..but if you look at either example I used, yeah these guys were 300 pounders, but they had maybe 6% body fat. 300 lbs. of muscle is a hell of a lot different from 300 lbs. of fat. And as far as the connective tissue issue ( ya like that poetry don'tcha ) I agree to a certain extent, but you gotta remember; you and I are from completely different governments. Whereas you can get good clean medically supervised doses, the vast majority of guys here in the states get polluted, uncontrolled crap which they then horrendously overuse (hell; if some is good, more is better, right?) and what happens is that the muscle development outpaces the connective tissue replacement at a frightening rate. Add to that a lot of "locker room doctors" passing out rotten nutritional info and you've got some really deadly situations brewing. And this doesn't necessarily happen to amateurs, look at Mike Mentzer amongst others. Maybe in the UK the roids are beneficial, but here in the states they've done a whole helluva lot more harm than you could imagine. Personally I think our Government should legalize and control these for bodybuilders and athlete's , hell we're injecting botulism, for God's sake, just to take away wrinkles! But considering what's out there on the market and it's history of abuse and misuse, I'll warn guys away from roids for a long damn time, at least here in the States.

Uh....don't feel like reading five pages to find out how this thread turned into another roid topic...but if any of you guys ARE taking ephedra, and would like to counteract the decrease in blood flow, simply take some l-arginine, hawthorne, muira puama, pycnogenol, cuscuta, ginko, ginseng, and/or yohimbine. These should help if you think you MUST take ephedra, or if it is in one of your pills.

Ha...no...but you have figured out that the ingredients in penis pills are mostly vasodilators, particularly in the netherregions. You can pick one ingredient to use and buy it from a health food store opposed to penis pills--it will save you money. I'm betting hawthorne or l-arginine are the easiest to find, along with ginko and ginseng. The other you would probably have to order.

The aphrodisiac herb Tribulus terrestris does not influence the androgen production in young men.

OBJECTIVE:: The aim of the current study is to investigate the influence of Tribulus terrestris extract on androgen metabolism in young males. DESIGN AND METHODS:: Twenty-one healthy young 20-36 years old men with body weight ranging from 60 to 125kg were randomly separated into three groups-two experimental (each n=7) and a control (placebo) one (n=7). The experimental groups were named TT1 and TT2 and the subjects were assigned to consume 20 and 10mg/kg body weight per day of Tribulus terrestris extract, respectively, separated into three daily intakes for 4 weeks. Testosterone, androstenedione and luteinizing hormone levels in the serum were measured 24h before supplementation (clear probe), and at 24, 72, 240, 408 and 576h from the beginning of the supplementation. RESULTS:: There was no significant difference between Tribulus terrestris supplemented groups and controls in the serum testosterone (TT1 (mean+/-S.D.: 15.75+/-1.75nmol/l); TT2 (mean+/-S.D.: 16.32+/-1.57nmol/l); controls (mean+/-S.D.: 17.74+/-1.09nmol/l) (p>0.05)), androstenedione (TT1 (mean+/-S.D.: 1.927+/-0.126ng/ml); TT2 (mean+/-S.D.: 2.026+/-0.256ng/ml); controls (mean+/-S.D.: 1.952+/-0.236ng/ml) (p>0.05)) or luteinizing hormone (TT1 (mean+/-S.D.: 4.662+/-0.274U/l); TT2 (mean+/-S.D.: 4.103+/-0.869U/l); controls (mean+/-S.D.: 4.170+/-0.406U/l) (p>0.05)) levels. All results were within the normal range. The findings in the current study anticipate that Tribulus terrestris steroid saponins possess neither direct nor indirect androgen-increasing properties. The study will be extended in the clarifying the probable mode of action of Tribulus terrestris steroid saponins.
