I need to make a decision on which pump to go with. I seem to be right on the edge sizewise. My current stats are:

nbpel: 7.3"
bpel: 8.3-8.5"
eg: 6" midshaft, 6.75" base

Will the X-40 be a bit too small, such that I would grow out of it soon? Or might it be just right for a long time to come?

Will the X-40 be too big, having problems like getting my balls sucked in, or lack of pressure because I'm not big enough for the cylinder.

From everything I've read, I seem to be right on the edge. Customer service at Bathmate is waiting for my decision. I'm hoping some of you guys can advise.

I would think you want to go with the X-40. You will probably be in some discomfort with a 6.75" base girth using the X-40. You will also be near the end of the tube with the X-40 at your current length.

I had almost decided, but then I read about DLD's stretching routine using the Bathmate and wondered if the X-40 might be too big with a 3" diameter. It may not grip tight enough to be able to pull on it without breaking the vacuum. Wouldn't have that problem with the X-40. Although I am fairly long and would fill most of the cyliner lengthwise, it would provide a really good seal and of course, when pulling on it, expect the length would retract some. thoughts?

Stillwantmore2, we talked about this a bit last week. Your stats are very similar to mine and you had this to say:

"I personally use my Bathmate before I clamp. I feel it's a great way to warm up. I don't (nor would I with other pumps) rely on it alone for gains. It 'might' work, by itself, but I would think it would take a VERY long time. I get as close to erect as possible before entering my Bathmate and the vacuum keeps me erect while wearing it. Isn't that how all pumps work regardless of a mans' age? The vac holds the blood in the penis right? You, going by your measurements could probably go with either model. We have similar sizes, I'm 7'' non bp, 8.25'' bp and 6.25'' EG (shaft not ''base''..whatever that actually IS) and I do great with my X-40 model. I have nearly 2 inches of length to spare inside the Bathmate when I use mine. I pack my tube completely girth wise, but that's fine for me in my opinion. Again, I only use mine to warm up before clamping. "

So, I'm a little (a lot) undecided :)

Well, are you going to be using yours to warm up with like I do, or will you be simply using it as a water pump and not doing much if anything else for Penis Enlargement?
 
Go with the X-40 if you are below 6.5" in girth....pretty easy to decide:)

Yeah, and now that I think about it, since I'm still a little skeptical about how effective it is for real gains, I'll be able to use it for a while and see how it goes. If I get to where it's too small, well, that's a good thing, right? Then, X-40, here I come. :)

SWM, I will use it for more than warmups, but like DLD says, I'm under 6.5" and so it will take some time to gain a solid .5" girth. Ok, on with the show. I'll keep you guys posted as to how I'm doing. Thanks again.

That right you can always get the larger model later. If you outgrow the X-40 than it will be the happiest money you ever spent to get the bigger model:)
 
yo, you should get a X-40 model. i am not 6" erect girth yet, but when i was using my X-40 regularly, i was getting massive expansion and pushing against the tube walls and it was quite uncomfortable.
if you do Bathmate stretches (which add significantly more expansion, due to added pressure), YOU WILL fill up the X-40 quick, even though the expansion is not yet permanent.

its all about comfort. if this is going to be used daily, i would get a X-40. you will have plenty of room to grow inside and comfort. cheers
 
The X-40 is too damn big (3" opening). It would take (9" +) to fill that tube up. It barely fits in the groin area and unless you got really big balls they get sucked in. They really need to make a size that
is a helluva lot more practical for guys that are 6" in girth already without any pump. I understand they are in the process of making one between the size of the X-40 and X-40. My suggestion is
for this model to be 2.5" wide opening and a 225 - 240mm of length. I have both the X-40 and the X-40. The X-40 creates more direct vaccuum to my shaft vs the X-40 which feels like you got a f'ing half gallon jug attached to your penis and its vaccuum is more to the groin area. Really, who in the hell has 9+ inch girth? In my opinion, they totally missed the boat on that one.

Good points, wannabphat! That's why I've had so much time deciding. Yes, an intermediate model would be ideal, but until then, I/we only have 2 options. I think I'll stick with the X-40, especially after what you said. Besides, I think the customer service rep is getting pissed off with my indecision LOL. Thanks much

I dont want to rag on their X-40 product because Im sure there users that like it. The X-40 feels like you get real penis expansion, while the X-40 feels like more of a disembowelment
in your groin area. If they decide to make a model with a 2.5" opening that would accommodate
2.5x pie (3.1459) = 7.86" of base girth. They are probably only a few thousand men in
the world with that kind of girth. I fill up the X-40 easily girth wise and am right at the 200mm
mark in length. So I will use it until I pack it length wise at around 220mm. Hopefully they will come
out with this new model real soon. It would sure help us guys that are 6" in girth and want 6.5 -7.5"
in girth. No bitch in their right mind would want a 9" girth dick. If she did, you better run for the hills. haha
 
yo im just saying if you said your girth pre-workout is 6 " and your BASE girth is already 6.75", IT WILL BE PAINFUL expanding against the inside walls, and you will, rest assured. the X-40 accommodates 6.5" girth MAX. be warned. :)

I agree with stretcharmstrng, your 6.75 base will be hurting consider the opening in the X-40 is about 6.5". My base is somewhere between 5.25-5.5 and I get ring indents, although they aren't painful yet.
 
glad to hear someone agrees with physics. =P im wondering if the 'disemboweling' feeling wannabephat was speaking of isn't that deep lig pull DLD has talked about a few times in regards to his Bathmate stretches?

to be honest, i actually had a X-40 and sold it to upgrade to a X-40, As my crazy expansion increasingly made my sessions more and more uncomfortable.

so i do own a X-40 now, but i haven't even used it yet, as i am in a length phase with my length master, which is also an awesome tool. i want to work length exclusively at least till the end of the year, but im more curious each day about the length gaining potential from the X-40 pulling the inner penis

Ok, gentlemen, here's the deal as far as I know. The quote below came directly from Bathmate canada customer service just 2 days ago. And I quote:

Regarding your order.
The X-40 is 2.5 inches wide internally and the X-40 is 3 inches wide.
The X-40 is 9 inches long internally and the X-40 is 12 inches long internally.
If your already wide, then the girth may be an issue with the X-40 model.
Most don't need the 12 inches of length but the X-40 just doesnt give enough girth for wider men.

Now, if you go online to any site that converts diameter to circumference, you will find that 2.5 inches diameter converts to 7.85" circumference. I think most of us fall a little short of that, no?

If I'm missing something, let me know. The X-40 is on the way. Worst that can happen is it doesn't fit. Then, maybe I'll sell it cheap to some lucky guy on MOS and go buy the X-40.
