arkailija when pumping using the "o" ring method what is starting postion of the pump fully open or closed? I have tried pumping with pump closed outwards and get i get suction but when trying to release its stuck unless i pump inwards then the water bubbles up inside the bathmate any tips you can give me? ill have to make a video and upload it.....

I fill the pump with water, put it on, the pip being closed and also the valve being totally closed. (Not being able to push it down.) Then I flick the pip and start pulling the Vacu-Vin, creating a suction. Then take it off to release the water inside the Vacu-Vin and pull again. When I'm good and done, I'll open the valve and slowly push it, to release pressure gradually.
I've noticed during the years that the gradual release of pressure really fights against any fluid buildup or blisters.

Maybe it's the Extreme only, where you can turn the valve so it can either be pushed or not be pushed down. But if it doesn't turn, the just flick the pip. Middle is open, either sides are closed, at least in my Extreme.

Thanks for that insight Ark!
