I wanted to start this log to help me keep track and to also have one place for me to share and ask questions during my hanging journey.
So to start and to give those who read this a better understanding of where and how I got to this point I have been doing PE of some sort since 2008. In the beginning I just jelqed because that's all I had read about on the Internet at the time. Read one tutorial on how to jelq and thought I was on my way to a massive dick. Boy was I wrong. I jelqed on and off for about 3 years and never really gained anything. I started at 6" NBPEL and some how managed to get to about 6 1/4".

Then in June of 2013 I came across this site. So glad I did. I've learned so much. Well now why I'm trying hanging. I started to have trouble with my suspensory ligament holding back my stretch. I couldn't get it to budge or at least it didn't feel like it. So after getting the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?83577-Length-master-official-order-thread-now-shipping-06-16-2014!!!]LM[/words] I started reading about hanging and read Dashdeming' hard core hanging thread and because of my time constraints I thought it was something I wanted to try. Then I came upon SWM'S progressive hanging routine and between the two I feel I can make gains with this type of PE.
About an month ago I bought my first 10 lb plate and soon figured out that wasn't enough weight so I bought 2- 2.5 lb plates and since have bought a 5 lb plate. I am now starting the week with 17.5 lbs following SWM progressive hanging routine. Well at least best as I can.
I started this week with 17.5 lbs and was able to hang 3 sets 15 min each Monday , 2 sets Tuesday with 17.5 lbs and on the 3rd set with about 8 mins left in the set I had to drop to 15lbs to finish out the set.
Now today. I had a horrible hanging session. I don't know if it was all in my wrap even though I re-wrap before each set or what it was. I just never could get comfortablewith it. My first set I started with 17.5 lbs but after about 10 mins I had to drop 2.5 lbs to finish out. Second set I kept the 15lbs but with about 5 mins left I had to bow of the set. So on tje third set I started back with the 15 lbs but after 5 mins I had to drop another 2.5 lbs to finish the set. The sad thing is it wasn't so much because of the stretch on my dick or ligs it was more because of pain in my glans that's why I feel it was more because of my wrap. Still needs work I think.
Well anyway. I'm on my way to my goals. I can already tell in such a short time that this really puts a good stretch on my dick. When I started hanging it felt I was only stretching hard on my suspensory lig but Monday I felt as though it was pulling more on the entire shaft and the other ligs so I think I breaking thru on my suspensory lig. Finally.
This log will have my success stories and failures, questions and hopefully some answers. It won't have a lot of measurements cause I'm more of a visualist meaning I'd rather see it then measure it. For starting measurement I'm at 6 7/8 NBPEL sometimes 7 depending on EQ but more than not I'm 6 7/8 so that's what I'm going with. I want to reach 8 NBPEL and then work on girth to 6" to 6.5.
I'm concentrating on length right now. So not much girth work going on. I still pump a little but only before sex.
So here I go.

Sounds great. More than likely the pain is from the wrap. I have those off days as well sometimes. Besides that, your dick needs to acclimate itself to so much weight so quickly. I lifted a 45lb plate off the floor for 1 minute cycles for 20 minutes my first few times back hanging. That set me up to where I am now at 25-28.5 lbs for 2 sets at 20 minutes each. You'll get used to it, don't worry. Then the weight will jump quickly once the wrap is down. I jumped 10 lbs when I figured my wrap out. Now it's back to 2.5 lb increments each or every other week, depending on how my body feels. Don't quit brother.
 
Oh I won't quit. I've already seen and felt more results in the short time I've been hanging to quit. My flacid already hangs better and looks better. I'm already getting the dick "flop when I walk around in loose pants and by that I mean it flops around hitting my thigh which is something I've never felt before. It's kinda of a ego boost knowing my dick is flopping around in my pants.
So this morning was so much better than yesterday. I was able to hang for 2 sets of 15 min each with 17.5 lbs with out any issues other than normal fatigue towards the end of each set. I wasn't able to do a third set cause I had to leave for work an hour earlier which will happen 1 or 2 times a week but I plan on doing 1 or 2 more sets tonight and on those days.
I'm loving the way my dick is hanging now days. It kinda protrudes out about an inch to an inch and a half before it drops. Kinda giving that arched look. Know what I mean? Looks good.
I'm noticing alot more underside pull and fatigue than I used to have too. Feeling a little burn sensation just behind the balls and before the anus. Feels like I'm pulling more from the inside than just the ligs now which is exciting.

Well I didn't get to do a third set last night, had another matter to attend to and it got too late. However I was able to get in 3 sets 15 min each with 17.5 lbs all 3 sets this morning . The last 7 or 8 mins of the last set was a bit of test but I was still able to get it in. My wrap could use a little more work maybe but for the most part it is working good.
Right now my weekends are my days off. It's usually when I have the most sex and I want to be in top shape for it and not so fatigued. I know there's a lot of debate on whether one should have days off or not but right now I feel that's the best for me. Plus I can't say I'm completely taking time off cause I do pump more on the weekends to keep it pumped for sex.
I did have something happened last night that hasn't happened in A LONG time. I was walking thru the house getting ready to go to bed and out of no where I got a massive hard on. That thing was hard as a rock. Almost like it was stretching before it went to bed. Felt really good actually.
 
Yup. Random boners are a godsend but a irritant at the same time. They're hard to get down and while it's up and hard like that, you wanna use it. Do some erect stretching or bends to get a workout in while your hard. Best use other than that is in a pussy I'd say. Nice work man.
 
You might want go to xvideos.com and check out KNM321123 wrapping teqnique. That boy is a genius when it comes to wrapping for comfort. It's a shame he turned out to be such a dick and decided to be selfish and leave the brotherhood.

That's what I was thinking, I thought "I wonder if I can use this thing tonight on the wife?" Unfortunately it was too late but hey I was just glad it did it. Told me I hadn't hurt it any with this hanging routine.

That's who I got my current wrap from when he was still on here and I agree it's been the best so far. I also use the same principle for an all day/night wrap with a little mod that I use. It's just as I get up in the weight I get a little more skin roll over that kinda messes up the glans a little so I'm still trying to figure what to do about that.

This is a side note I've been wanting to ask about for some time, kinda off topic. I've seen people putting more than one "quote replies" in their post. How do they do they do that? All my use is on a phone and haven't figured out how to do that.

You'll see the reply arrow and right next to it is the parenthesis. Hit that and it'll copy the whole text or you can delete a little. Then add your response and hit post.

Hung 3 sets 15 min each with 17.5 lbs.
I am really noticing a different stretch. It started a little last week but I felt it even more this morning and that is the stretch feeling between the ball sack and the anus (if someone can tell me the correct terminology for that area I'll use it). I felt more of a burning (stretch) in that area this morning. I'm really excited about that because I thinks it's telling me that I've stretched the suspensory lig enough as to let the other parts of my dick stretch more and hopefully that feeling is from my inner penis being stretched more. What are your thoughts?

The good old Gooch Haha. That's great. I had the same thing. My skin stretched, then I felt the ligs and now I feel it at the base and inner penis like you. Try to get some straight out hanging that way you can turn side to side to really get that internal penis stretched. The dull pain is great to know that you're doing good. Keep going.

Hung 3 sets 15 min each set with 17.5 lbs. Last set was a little intense but was still able to complete it. I'm still feeling the inner penis stretch which is the reason I think the last set was a challenge. The weight actually feels a little heavier than it did when I first went to the 17.5 lbs but I attribute that to stretching more of the inner penis now that the ligs have loosened up some. Still a good feeling knowing I'm stretching parts that have never been stretched before which can only lead to one thing.... GROWTH !

Hung 3 sets 15 min each with 17.5 lbs. Wrap still needs some work. I think I've got it one session then the next session it doesn't feel as good. Oh well still learning. Be glad when I find the right combo cause I think I could go up again in weight next week if I can get it right.

Thanks and congratulations on reaching your goal. That is some good weight there. I've got 2-30 lb dumbbells and I remember when I first started hanging and was reading about others hanging 30+ lbs I picked one of them up and I thought there's no way I can do that. Now I'm thinking about moving to 20 lbs next week if everything goes good and that's just 10 lbs less. So yeah 30 lbs is going to be my goal for now too. I do know though I have to crawl before I can walk so it might be a while before I reach it. I know I keeping wining about this but I think once I get my wrap down it will allow me to hang more sooner. I feel my dick could handle the hang it's just not to liking the wrap right now if that makes sense.

I was only able to hang 2 sets 15 min each at 17.5 lbs this morning because I had to leave earlier for work. I wish I had a work from home job. Anyway I will try to get a set or two in tonight.
 
What do you wrap with? I use a layer of soft, wound dressing followed by [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] wrap and then a wrist sweat band. I got everything at Walgreens in one trip. I'll have to thicken it up soon with the weight increase. I get a box of around 20 soft wound dressings, each one lasts a while. Those wear out so that way my [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?44-Ace-Strapped-Jims-Joint]ace[/words] wrap and wrist band last almost forever.
 
I wrap first with a sports pre-wrap. I use it to help with skin roll over on my glands. Then I use a self adhering wrap, then a small piece of 3" wide sports wrap just to help with slipping . It sticks really good with the non slip pads on the [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?83577-Length-master-official-order-thread-now-shipping-06-16-2014!!!]LM[/words]. My main problem still and has been for a long time is the skin that rolls over my glands. It kinda goes up my glands about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up and makes a good indention and causes the top 1/4 of my glands to become really hard and callous feeling by the end of my session. I don't think that's good for it especially over time. So I still need to come up with something to prevent that. Even with all the wrap I still get it some and that's where most of my discomfort and pain comes from. When I can I'll take some pictures of my wrap and also what it does to my glands.

Have you tried wrapping a bit lower and attaching lower, maybe an inch below your head? This should help with the slippage over your head. You could also do your same set up and slip a cock ring to secure the wrap so it does not slip beyond the ring. May work for you.

Well I hung my first set with 17.5 lbs for 15 mins. It felt really good so I thought I'd add another 2.5 lbs plate just to see how it felt. I was able to hang my next 2 sets with 20 lbs for 15 min each. I couldn't believe it. I didn't even struggle with the extra weight. I'm wondering how can that be. How is it that I have been able to increase in weight this fast? I've read a lot of guys starting at a lot lower weight and only increasing slowly after months of hanging. It's got me thinking have I increased my weight too soon and not given my penis enough time to adjust properly. I'm worried I might be toughening it up instead of stretching out the ligs and the rest of it. Is hanging supposed to be more of a slower process even though I have been able to handle more weight?

You say it felt really good, and that's because you were well recovered from the last session. If you were still a bit sore then more weight (2.5 doesn't sound like too much) would have been uncomfortable. The bottom line is you need to get those microtears, and that's why more weight is necessary eventually don't be afraid :).

I did it from my phone but I had to go to desktop view and if gives me more options to choose from and one was to attach a photo from my phone. I never did see any options to add a picture from the mobile view just one to add a video even in the advanced option.

Hung 3 sets 15 min each at 20 lbs. Good stretch. The first 15 min went good but at about 11 to 12 min into the 2nd and 3rd set I really had to bear down to get them in. No real pain or anything just getting fatigued really good. I'm really hoping to start seeing some changes with this heavier weight. Nothing immediate mind you but still in the next few months or so.

I'm going to get me a pulley system set up so I can do some different angle stretching as well. I'll alternate days on hanging straight down then out and up.

Excellent! Try to move up 5 pounds every 2 weeks, that is what I did until I got to 60 pounds.
 
I tried moving up 2.5lbs each week but my body doesn't like it. It's like every 2-3 weeks but I'll get there. You're doing great. Definitely try to hit different angles. You'll feel new pulls like never before. Even now you can lift one leg on a chair while hanging straight down or put the attachment onto a strong door knob and lean back while slowly turning side to side. The deep pull is excellent.

Thanks, I'll do my best. 60 lbs! Man I couldn't imagine that much weight but yet when I started hanging I thought 20 lbs was a lot and that it would be months before I could reach that but here I am.

I think I recall reading somewhere that you stated that hanging really didn't benefit you very much. Why do you think that is? To be honest it kind of bummed me when I read that cause I thought if it didn't benefit you maybe it wouldn't benefit me either. I think if I'm not mistaken it was in a post in a Kingsnakes thread.

I made me a weight hanger. A little bit better than what I was using (see previous photo). Cost less than $10 to make. I also got me some cable and fittings so I can get different angle stretching. I'll work on getting that set up this weekend when I have more time. I'll post a picture when I get it done. The nice thing about my hanger is it weighs about 2 lbs so I'm now hanging 22lbs. Didn't plan it just worked out that way.
Yesterday I hung 3 sets 15 min each at 20 lbs. Today hung 3 sets 15 min each at 22lbs.

That's an excellent DIY. Nice work. If you can find the studs in your wall, put an anchor where it's easily accessible to hook to. Hell, even the ceiling too, that way you get straight up as well. Then later you can put in a sex swing 😈. I used to put my strap in the door jamb but if somebody opened it, I'd have broken bones since my weight bench is right there and people wondering what's on my dick. Again, nice job along with the weight increase.
 
Are you gonna add fulcrum capacities? That would be double angular %)

With the rack you probably need to do something like the guy on the left though. Or attach it someplace midway, and lay belly flat on the floor.
