I have heard so many times on different forums about guys experiencing difficulties with the valves on the Bathmates, especially the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words]. This is one of many reasons why a lot of guys have jumped ship and got themselves a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]penomet[/words]. I bought both the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] and the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X40[/words] about 7 weeks ago, unfortunately this was before i learnt about the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]penomet[/words]. I have not tried my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X40[/words] yet as i am still fairly new to pumping and the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X40[/words] is meant to be more intense. As DLD has pointed out ...more guys prefer the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] over the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] and this has made me feel reluctant to make the transition.

@freedom48

You shouldn't have more air then a little bubble right below the valve.. otherwise you probably need to shave, trim and/or use lube to get an airtight seal.
I know it's harder in the shower.. i actually have problems with it, but im also not willing to completely shave everything down there so i use it in the bathtub..

Since I have made the mods to the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] i.e. [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] valve and using silicone sealer to seal the comfort ring, my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] works like it is supposed to. It doesn't leak air and holds a tight seal and I get a good pump. I don't think I would look at a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]penomet[/words] now since I have made this mod.

I was pretty frustrated with mine and was going to sell it but now I am keeping mine.

Actually, the air does come inside from the valve after I am pumping and realese and pumping the second..I have to close the valve very fast after the first pump, only so I have a change to get a suction with little bubbles...I am always shaved,..I saw in videos people are pumping the device several times, I do it only one time and close the valve after I am pressing it strong tight on to my body..Something wrong with valve perhaps, it is not possible to pump several times, or I will get many air inside, ...strengh...

@ExtraLarge
Thanks..

@DocHollywood

please can you advise me of the using of the valve, how you could avoid the air coming in after pump...can you please detail me an explanation...I don't have a problem at all with a good seal and suction, I am facing a problem or unknown situation with my valve..Did you change the valve and use [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] valve on it?

Thanks..

I used my old [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] valve and it worked so much better. I then contacted [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words] and they sent me a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] valve. I also siliconed the comfort ring and all is good now. No leaks and I can get really good suction now much better than the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] and much more comfortable.

Master of Repair!

My techniques for use in shower:

Step 1: Shave that Bush! You won't get good suction if you don't.

Step 2: I've tried the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]x40[/words] flaccid and erect, turns out you will get a much better suction erect so get the jerking. Doesn't have to be 100% but close enough. I have my good old [words=http://fleshlight.sjv.io/c/348327/302851/4702]Flesh light[/words] so it doesn't take me long to get it up.

Step 3: the Vaseline between the pad and the gator works amazing. But it will do fine with out it. I also lube up a little around my pelvis area. After washing up with soap it can get it a bit tacky with all the friction from the suction.

Step 4: prior to filling it up. Insure your [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]x40[/words] is in the locked position. (All the way left or right and clicked into place) no water should come out.

Step 5: fill is with warm water all the way.

Step 6: aim your dick straight to the ground and drop it in. Let the excess water spill out the brim as you bring the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]x40[/words] into your pelvis. Insure you keep your balls in a safe spot so when it time to pump the wont get sucked in.

Step 7: level the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]x40[/words] parallel to the ground. Double check your balls. Keep it pressed against your body and watch for any continuous water leakage. If so start the process over again to insure you have a good initial pump. Try keeping tight to the pelvis without actually pumping the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]x40[/words].

Step 8: when no water leakage is found now its time to click the valve switch to the middle and begin your initial pump. Water will shout out the valve and you will feel the suction. Pump to your comfort.

Step 9: once your dick starts to expand after a couple minutes now its time to pump to the MAX! After max suction is reached check and feel if u feel air slipping in around your pelvis. If not then its now optional to lock the switch.

Step 10: after your reached 20 minutes flick the switch to the middle and press in on the WHOLE VALVE. this will release the pressure allowing you to withdraw your dick from the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]x40[/words]. Dry it off, lube it up, and rub it out or jelq. Either one will reduce the risk of water retention. After that enjoy a bigger thick dick for however long it last for you. Hope it works for you! Good Luck.

Now the are my techniques that I use to combat lost of suction. Works every time for me. Never had spots, water retention, blisters or all the other BS people get from either over doing it or just doing it wrong.

So, after I get a new valve, my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] working amazing...All problems happened because a defected valve... With the new valve no more problems of air...works amazing...

And "Crowdaddy " that is very good explanation, so I am doing it...:))
Thanks

Wow, I can't believe how many are switching the valve on their [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words]/Bathmate pumps. My favorite valve is the one they use on the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words], same as the one on early [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] models. I also love the valve on the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Penomet[/words]...very clever.

My new valve is the one as same as the first valve on the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words]...After so many troubles I had with the air after pumping, the company helps me and sent a new replace valve. It is working like a charm, no more air problems...So I think this is a good advise for others, who are facing an air problem after pumping...:)) Now I have a super suction without any trouble of air..:))

I have been having the same leaky valve issue. The latch is pretty stiff and won't stick if moved to the left (it pops back to center). I've tried the "pump it on a flat surface" advice. That didn't work. I've tried moving the latch back to the locked position after pumping. Most of the time, it pops back to center. If it does stick in the locked position, air bubbles still come in from the valve area. I've emailed [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words]'s customer service and am waiting for a reply. This is very frustrating.

You may want to go for a replacement valve, seems there is a split between the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] valve and that of the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words], the latter being more preferred. I will also attend to the attention of [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words] to help you also.

I received an email from Health World Customer Care (which I'm assuming is [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words]'s internet storefront) giving me some things to try to stop the bubbles. I tried them and it didn't make things significantly better. I emailed them back last week letting them know this and mentioned that some [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MoS[/words] users had success using a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] replacement valve. Unfortunately, it seems that their customer care has a response turnaround time of a couple of business days whenever I email them.

Well, Phill from World Health gave me another person to contact at [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words]. I copied you on the email, DLD.

Hello all, I'm new to the forum as a registered user but a long time reader.

I have experienced the same issues with suction, although mine have been far less consistent. Rather, the problems are not always present. I do have a question that could be a factor in the loss of suction and air bubbles appearing in the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]x40[/words]. On the bottom of the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X40[/words], there is a raised notch on the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]gaiter[/words] and the comfort ring. I believe those need to be aligned, but do I twist the bellows so the "alignment" notches are pointing up (towards my face) or pointing down (towards the ground)?

odotsal08 - my bubbles / loss of suction is definitely coming from the valve end and not the comfort ring end. I've aimed the tip of pump both upward and downward, and the air bubbles are absolutely coming from the valve. One thing I've noticed about the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] is that it seems to be a lot more "pube sensitive" than the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words]. With the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words], I only needed to keep my pubes under control with some mild man-scaping. With the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words], I need to set the beard trimmer down to a "2" in order to get a decent seal.

As for your question (and this is based on how I interpretted the instructions in the user manual), the important thing is that the notches are aligned. You can then position the pump so that the measurement window is either facing up OR down. I've only used it facing up, but I will try it facing down once I get my valve issue fixed and see if I feel like I'm getting any different kind of stretch.

Since my previous post, I rotated the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]gaiter[/words] and comfort ring 180 degrees so that the "alignment notches" are facing down (ground) while keeping the measurement window facing up (face). The instructions don't specify which way to wear it. The reason I had asked the question to begin with is because the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]gaiter[/words] and c-ring have a natural "lean" when placed on a flat surface, and/or when pressed against your pubic bone. Depending on how you wear the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words], the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]gaiter[/words] and c-ring will either give you a natural wearing position pointing down or up. I feel like I'm getting a better seal by having the natural wearing position pointing down, due to rotating the notches to face the ground as stated. I also ordered a universal sleeve and ball-sac stretcher/ring(s) to keep my balls from getting sucked in so I'll let you guys know how that goes.

Oh yea, it's my understanding that the other [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words] models don't have this "lean" that I speak of. They are completely flat and level on the bottom. Is that correct? I can post some pics if that will help with the visualization.

The [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]comfort pad[/words] is flat but when the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]comfort pad[/words] is removed it is angled on the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X40[/words] and [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X40[/words].

So I think I might have a defective valve :-/ My [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words] is about a week and a half old and it worked great the first 7 or 8 times but now when I pump it and then release it immediatly sucks in air at the valve and I can't get any suction. I've tried on several flat surfaces aswell as pointing it upwards and it's just not working.

I'm out of ideas of what to try outside of taking it apart which I'd rather not do but I guess I'm going to have to either way. Very dissapointing <:(

Simple ask them for a replacement valve. A good tip, ask for one of each, the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Hydromax[/words] valve and the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words] valve.

Finally, there is only one way. You have to replace it with a new one. No other solution. The customer service you have to give your product number. It was for me before also a big pain. It took my 1 month to change it. But in the end I have a good valve. And they send it free of charge. You should have to disturb them often in the first time with explanations..

I tried this yesterday mate and then I realised how powerful the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]hydromax[/words] [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]x40[/words] really is . I emailed support and they sent a replacement valve. But I'm so f*king thick I bought a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Hercules[/words] for the valve before I emailed them about the valve so now I spent £69.99 on [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]hercules[/words] for no bloody reason! My God I'm dumb lol. Maybe I can sell it off. I used the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Hercules[/words] one time just to test it and that's it.
