Hey there . I was thinking , after the work out , instead of rice sock , wouldn't be better to use steam ? I know from the cosmetics things that steam open the pores and could be a lot easier for the cream to absorb into the skin . What do you guys think ?

That would work great, wet heat is usually more healing than dry heat. Be careful not to use steam that would burn.

Really, steam and really warm water are probably the best warm downs. Great idea.

Definitely, wet heat penetrates faster due to the pores opening, this helps the heat get deeper into the tissue bringing greater healing.

grab your ducky..IT'S BATH TIME!!!

i use dry heat for convenience. wet is ideal. gives me an idea. i need to do my LM stretches in a hot tub!!!

Easiest , cheapest and cleanest way to make steam is a facial sauna device . As simple as it sounds , you put your little buddy in that support , place a towel on top of him and voilà , best warm down / warm up you can ever experience in my opinion .

I was going to mention that, it would be a very safe way to accomplish a warm up or warm down. I used one for acne when I was younger.

Same here . I was on a beauty salon when i was younger for the same problem and from there i got my ideea . LOL . To fill a bathtub with hot water is a lot more difficult and require more time . This monday i will receive my device and , for sure i will post a review about that if nobody ever tried it .

Good idea, for a warm-down I usually cover willy with towel and do very light massage and stretch for 5-10 minutes.

Here is my warm down after a great PE session. Highly recommend it ;) tempted to do some more BM stretches in the tub though

Water can transfer heat around nine times faster than air. So, wet heat is way more efficient than dry -normal- heat, but 'opening the pores' isn't an extra benefit. Ultimately since the penis resides outside of the body and provides enormously more area for the application of heat, faster than the attachment point down at the base can help shed the heat away, really any manner of heat is going to warm the entire organ pretty quickly.

Wet heat can accomplish that a bit faster, but if the wet heat source loses its warmth before you're finished, or is only being intermittently applied between massages, then you're left with a wet penis which will tend then to get cold very quickly through evaporative cooling (that's how sweating works to cool you off) .. so wet's advantage can also be its liability.

If you want to go beyond even wet heat look into FIR .. far infrared therapy. Far Infrared penetrates more deeply into the body than even wet heat for the purposes of most therapy. And while any kind of heat will warm the penis up in a similar manner, Far Infrared also has some impressive anti-inflammatory properties (heme-oxygenase-1 etc, catalytically active enzymatic agents that specifically speed healing in bruising) which wet and normal-dry heat do not.

In fact .. to make a distinction in the terms .. using (per se) -heat- too soon after your tissues undergo a stressor can impede healing by causing unnecessary extra bleeding in the affected tissues, so keeping in mind the distinction between 'warm' vs 'hot' .. don't use so much warmth right after a workout that it becomes hot .. that could have the opposite effect that you're looking for.

Great addition Asanon! I completely forgot about IR, that was mentioned years ago on the forum and it was working for a few guys, good to have it back in the forefront, maybe some will give it a try. My favorite warm downs have always been heating pads.

I don't want to make a new thread so i will post in here . As i said , i will write a review about the facial sauna device . The model is a Revlon , it costed me 35$ without the shipping cost , and for the second time i'm happy to invest in a device for PE . You can adjust your temperature and steam control . The steam relax the skin , makes it softer and increase the blood flow with only 1 condition , you have to put a towel on top . So far so good but , there is a unpleasant part . Asanon is right , after you use the device , your little buddy gets colder but i found out that you can combine rice sock with steam and works very well . So after i used 20 minutes of steam , i jump right after in rice sock for another 10 minutes and your buddy is happy , relaxed and warmish . What do you guys think about this combination ?

That is awesome you picked one up, I think I might do the same to review it. I think the combination with the Rice Sock will be a kick ass way to warm down and heal up your penis.

Nice :)

Doing two different things can seem overly complicated .. but not everything can be simplified, sometimes more complicated is actually the right answer.

You'd mentioned a cream ... how is that working out with the steam (trying to sweat it away) or the sock (trying to absorb it away)? -- Maybe do the cream after the steam, and underneath a plastic wrap so the sock can't wick it away..

Edit .. Add a cockring (light force .. not tight) while doing the warmdown to stay in expanded state.

I never thought about that. I guess it's a good thing I always use the blow drier on high heat after using a shower for a warm up lol.
