So I've been dealing with an issue for the past 2 months that has little to no documented history on this site or any other site on the internet. I've been doing a pretty intense girth workout since August/September and everything has been going fairly smoothly until recently I would start to notice little black dots caused by hematomas that scab and then eventually fall off. Sometimes they leave little raise scars behind and just before they turn into scabs, the skin of my penis becomes really tight and it hurts to do any sort of stretching AND they itch like crazy. After a little bit of research I soon concluded that I was getting penile hematoma. I would rest a few days (even a week at one point) and these issues would subside but as soon as I started up again, they would return. The little dark dots were soon starting to multiply until there were a LOT of them. I tried to get rid of them by doing easy short girth workouts that were only 5 or 10 minutes long and they would still appear!!! There were a couple threads of other fellow PE'ers dealing with the same issue but the advice they got was to just "Take it easy" or it was misdiagnosed.

Well, Im here to set the record straight on this issue for anyone that may have dealt with it. I first thought it was because I was clamping/pumping too hard but the short easy workouts disproved that theory. I then thought for the longest time that it was because of my cockring use after my girth workouts but I still got them after I stopped all cockring use. I knew it had to do with small broken blood vessels that would pool small amounts of blood just underneath the surface of the skin that do not get absorbed back into the body. I tried thinning my blood by using a daily low dose of Asprin which helped but still some of the blood was not getting absorbed back into my body.
After some experimentation I soon found out that this started happening to me because of 3 main issues:
1.) The weather has gotten a lot colder and the average temperater in my apartment has decreased a lot. Not to mention that the average temperature outside now has dropped to well below freezing.
2.) I stopped heat wrapping after my workouts due to time constraints and always being rushed to do my PE workouts at lunch time during work etc.
3.) Not wearing warm clothing and always being cold at work.
This means that I would finish a girth workout and the average temperature in my room would be cold which would mean that my penis was cold. I would then put on a cockring and rush out of my door into freezing temperatures. Since my penis was staying cold then the body will not be able to reabsorb the blood that has pooled on the skin surface back into the body. I've been able to completely stop the appearance of all black dots and itchy skin by making sure I heat wrap after all my girth workouts!! Heat wrapping is mentioned in DLDs SRT and its also mentioned in REDs clamping guide and all throughout the clamping forums here and there.
These guys have been heat wraping for decades after their routines and I never completely understood why. Unfortunately I had some small new scars to now remind me but I learn best from a hands on approach anyway lol. I've been able to up the intensity of my girth workouts until i completely lost my erection for 2 days and with a good proper cool-down, I have no issues with these red/black dots that scab over (penile hematoma). The importance of heat wrapping and also massaging especially if you live in a cold climate area is beyond important.
