I have been jelqing for almost an year and i never feel the "pump" or temporary increase in girth the members here including DLD are talking about. I suspect that this is the reason why i have made very little girth gains

Can someone please explain?
I usually jelq with a 50 - 60% erection and each jelq lasts like 2 seconds

I jelqed for 5 years with 0 gains. Personally I think jelqing is over rated and was useless for me. The only time I can see jelqing as beneficial is between bathmate sets.
 
Expansion comes best by the SRT 5x5x3 routine. Jelqing is a decent foundational exercise but it has it's limits and those limits happen quite quickly. I invented many different jelqing styles but, by far, the SlowSquashJelq is best and when it is combined with the BathMate expansion is insane. Some men see more than an inch in temp. expansion using the 5x5x3.
 
I have heard many people gaining amazing results using this 5x5x3 routine. I intend on planning it after i get to 5" in girth :)
 
I did jelqing and other manual girth work for years and almost never got expansion after a workout. Maybe after a crazy hour long session I might get 1/8th of an inch, and that was rare. Despite that, I still gained 1/2 inch of girth.

It wasn't until the last year and a half or so, when I added pumping and clamping, that I started to see regular expansion after girth work. And not just after pumping and clamping, now I see it after manual work as well.

I'd suspect that for guys like me who aren't prone to fluid retention, nearly 100% of the post-workout expansion has to come from the tunica expanding. This is...not easy. It's tough tissue, and it takes a lot of force to make it expand. I think that after pummeling it with 2x a day clamping and pumping, my tunica has increased elasticity. At this point I can do a couple of dry jelqs and a hard clamp at the base for 20 seconds and get expansion that will last for a few hours.

It brings expansion to a new level. Most men see at least 1/2" and many an inch plus. These temporary gains are so important to securing permanent gains. The more expansion consistently, the faster the girth will cement.
