So I've been wearing the extender now for a little over a month. Luckily I've been working from home, so it's made adjusting to this a lot easier. Some notes from the time so far:

  • I started at 900 grams and moved up in time slowly
  • I've now been at 1200, wearing the device as much as I can
  • I started off with a medium and short bar
  • I am now using a long and medium bar
  • With help of more tension, my stretched length while in the device has obviously increased

I'm actually pretty excited to see what this thing can do. I've been using the bathmate for nearly 2 years, but wasn't getting much in length. It's nice to see consistent increases with the stretched length in this, so hopefully it is doing something. I've been logging everything pretty extensively in a spreadsheet thus far.

One question, from my research here, it kind of seems like maintaining 1200 is the best, is that agreeable for the most part?

Different guys will tell you different things about how much tension to use, but from my experience the more tension the better.

I have a few questions comments though:

1. Most guys keep a log of exactly how many hours they do in the SG, have you done that and would you be willing to share?

2. How much have you gained in that month?

3. Down the line I am also interested in buying a BM, so I was wondering over those two years that you used it how much gains did you see in both length and girth?

Yes I can post updates. I don't really like reading through threads that are updated daily though as that seems to be a bit of overkill. I did gather a lot of information from J1L's exensive log though.

My methodology for measuring when I first started in P.E. at the end of 2012 wasn't so great, and I noted that in my spreadsheets, but given that, here is the basics of what I have done.

Start - Dec. '12
BPEL - 6.25" (could be skewed due to a different measuring technique, most likely 6.5"
EG - 5.00"

I had a Bathmate Hercules, I started off pumping at 160 and got to 190 (with comfort pad removed). I travel quite a lot, so I would go for many days without using it, but I still tried to use it as much as possible.

By April 2013 I purchased an X30. I started at 167 and now hit 181
BPEL - 6.75"
MSEG - 5.25"

As of Oct. 2014 when I got the SG
BPEL - 7.00"
MSEG - 5.5"

One month later, and I hate to even include this because it's only been a month (148 hrs):
BPEL - 7.1"
MSEG - 5.5"

I do hope that with wearing it a fair duration at this tension, things will start happening more rapidly.

When I looked all this over I was a bit shocked, as I didn't really think I had gained anything in P.E. As I said, I travel a ton, so it's difficult to do this 5 days a week most years. I kept with the Bathmate because even though I felt like I wasn't gaining, I would still get a massive pump that would last quite some time. Once a few months back, I got to 7.1" BPEL with a solid 6" MSEG. But, surprising even to myself, I guess I have gained. I would say 0.5" length and 0.5" girth. It's not a massive change but I'll take it! We will see what happens with the SG. It does feel as if things are happening, considering how I've been able to add so many bars, but it's not showing up in BPEL much yet. I think that will change in the future. It's definitely giving me more flaccid hang, but I kind of stopped measuring that as I don't have a consistent method.

Congratulations on making these length gains after only a month in the SizeGenetics! How has your girth gains been after using the BathMate for 2 years?

Hey DLD,

It is mentioned in the post. I have been using the BM inconsistently with 0.5" gains in girth, but after a good pump I can tack on another 0.5" to 6" MSEG. I started at 5.

.5" is not a bad gain for inconsistent use. Girth was tough for me in the beginning and in my first year I put on .5" of girth. I really never started to really gain excellent girth until I started doing supersets. I found that in order for me to gain girth I needed to make huge temporary gains consistently. Overall, in the 13 years I have trained, I put on a total of 2".

Yeah I feel like I'm maxing out the X30 at the base, getting pretty decent gaitor bite and also discoloration from where the comfort pad ends. I'm about 6.6 girth at the base, so I think I really need to get an X40. I just did the math on it and the circumference at the base of the X30 is about 6.87, so I'm sure when I'm pumping I'm filling that thing up.

Awesome, thanks for the detailed reply. I also have a SizeGenetics, but aside from when I first got it I haven't used it at all. Instead I do hanging. If length is what you want, I would highly suggest you to look into hanging as opposed to the SG. With the SG the general idea is that for every 1000 hours one will gain 1 inch. To me that is a huge amount of time. The first time I began hanging I gained about .6 inches in the span of 8 months with only an average of 1.25 hours a day.

I am hanging a minimum of 2 hours daily now and I am seriously feeling the gains coming. Just a thought though, either way I am excited to see what results you get.

AT 6.6" at the base you NEED an X40 or a Goliath.

I just hit another milestone. I'm now up to a long, medium, and short bar on each side. I started with just a medium and short bar.

Excellent work my Brother! Can't wait to hear the new measurements.
