in the article it sounds like the viking dude is jelqing/edging not just treating his dick with different temperatures. maybe alternating cold and warm can have a good effect on the exercises we already do. I have done both warm and cold PE but I guess I had not thought to combine the two in the same session.
Acro, I noticed that too.
Guys I'm putting the following info before you as I respect this forum. I see we don't do things 'just because' on
MoS, we contribute and benefit from the expertise, sense, clear thinking and judgement of the posters here.
Mammals it has been shown, our types of brains, the neural net is what is referred to as super associative. All that means is that our brain will go with there being a valid pattern, or more simply an association rather than not. You can experience this yourself when the face recognition part of our neural net (in our brain) says that a bunch of inanimate objects not only have a face - we know it isn't a face - and not only that but evaluates the expression the 'face' is holding. Our neural net gives us a false positive rather than avoid missing what could be a face.
What does that have to do with Viking PE lore?
Haakon Harfaggerson - I suspect that his name would not inspire fear and awe in the English speaking world were he alive today - he didn't have the benefit of knowing what worked for 1000s of other guys, or maybe another intrepid PEr of his day. He doesn't have the data to recognise that the jelquing with heat, and edging at least 7 times without 'giving in to pleasure' were the key parts of his practice.
I'm starting to see claims from some that cold has as much potential as heat on the penis. Elementary chemistry knowhow says that the rate of reactions is lowered at lower temperatures. And cellular activity, including growth is a chemically controlled process dependant on reactions.
That's not to say that Mr Harfaggerson or any else is wrong about the potential of extreme cold on the cells of the groin in seeking to increase the rate of growth in PE, I'm only keeping things grounded in principles we have the benefit of knowing that Haakon could not have understood when he rationalised what was working for him. That is if we are willing to believe this legend : )
I am ALL for testing though, as else how would we ever go beyond where we got to so far?
