These are some things that seem to help me with girth exercises:
1) Do your girth routine only 3-5 times per week. This has more to do with your arousal than anything. If sexually active, wait until your refractory period is complete and you have some EQ.
2) Don't do your girth routine immediately after your length routine. The trauma of a length routine and some of the desensitization it brings will inhibit good EQ. Wait 6-12 hours.
3) Make sure do to the SSJs. I may be the only one, but I prefer to only have about 60% EQ during this exercise. 60% allows the ability to squeeze and gently bend/roll the middle of the penis by holding each end. If you use a flexible tape to measure during the SSJ, you'll find that during that exercise you could very well be getting +.50" expansion.
4) Wear a ring for about an hour afterwards. Even though you will be soft, the ring helps me hold my EG in a flaccid state.
