Society should embrace our bodies more instead of shunning nudity. I'm not saying we need to run around naked all the time but the overwhelming majority, at least in the US, feel that being naked is something to avoid. We're raised to believe nakedness is wrong and clothing around others is required. I remember getting changed in gym class and everyone kept their eyes to themselves and changed quickly as if they were ashamed.

Going to boot camp broke a lot of that for me and others. We'd have half the platoon sent in to shower at a time which at one point there were almost 70 of us. 35 men rushing in to 15 shower heads and barely having enough time to soap and rinse and that was at night when we were allowed to fully shower. After PT in the morning the entire platoon would form a line and you'd quickly walk under each shower head with a man 1 foot in front and another 1 foot behind you. We couldn't even get dressed at our own pace. There were nights we'd put on and take off our underwear 10 times. There was no shame. We were there to get broken down physically and mentally and be rebuilt and become something better. The sight of other naked men just happened and we got used to it. In the years that followed it wasn't a big deal to see each other naked. I saw more dicks than I'd like to remember but the majority of us were comfortable in those situations.

Society needs to stop being afraid of nakedness and our own bodies.

I attended a boarding school and also had similar experience as well. I never felt any shame when I was naked in school with friends. But all that changed after school because I rarely get naked in presence of anyone now. The society will always be against nakedness. I think it's same in most countries all around the world.

PE is an amazing thing. The people who tried and gave up fail to realize what a 0.25" gain means. That's gotta be similar to tacking on 15lbs of muscle in the gym. It's certainly possible in 3-4 months if you're putting in all the work required.
