M37,
>Do you have a type of chair you'd reccomend???<
If you are going to buy one, I would say the cheapo office chairs, that recline, are height adjustable, and have a higher back would be perfect. You do not have to get a leather model. Just cloth covered would be fine.
>What is the MOST weight you've heard of someone having to use before they began to accumulate gains (was it that 30 lbs?) ?<
Yes.
>and what would you figure the avg. gain rate per month is?<
I have no idea. Probably a mm or less on average.
>i will take whatever i can get, long as i am gaining half a CM a month would be nice though (more the better of course!)<
That might happen to begin, with newbie gains. But overall, gains will average much slower than that for most guys.
>A Few additional notes, My penis feels alot tougher lately... hard to explain what i mean but just tougher the head esp. i'd assume this is all part of the adaption process.<
Hmmm. No, that does not sound too good. I see in the next two posts, you wrote about problems with your technique. That will probably address some of these physical problems.
>I am still averaging a minimum of 15 hrs a week... i'm using 13.75 lbs right now, and i tend to have trouble with the 4-5th set... so i feel i will be hitting fatigue within the 1-2 set range with about 15-20 lbs normal? abnormal?<
That sounds totally within the expected range.
>When i say tougher head i mean, it's slightly lost sensitivity. is there a way i could releive some upper shaft pressure? i was thinking adding a strip of 2 of cloth along the top of the shaft extra to prevent dorsal nerve irritation.<
Yes, that might help. But the biggest problem with the homemade hangers is a lack of blood channels to provide at least a bit of circulation. Also, the overtightening thing addressed below can be bad.
>I use the 2nd home made bib hanger BTW. the 2 peice one.<
Yes, this is something that takes time and practice, but you need to pay attention to it. You need to trim the piece that goes around the top back of the head to where it fits YOU. Further, you need to make sure the U or V cut in the plastic totally avoids the area just behind the top of the head.
>1. I've been tightening the hanger much too tight... it should be as loose, as can support the weight with internal structures taking the brunt, as possible correct?<
That is correct. With the circular type hangers, it is harder to grasp the internal stuctures, bunching the shaft "meat", and avoiding the head taking the weight. Just tighten enough to do this, and no more. It helps to manually check the tightness, see if the hanger slips, before applying the weight.
>i was going far past this. not good, i'm fixing it.<
That sounds good.
>2. I've been wrapping a bit too tight... my wrap was sligghtly pinching at all times while hanging. not good, i'm fixing this.<
Another common problem.
