The dip is supposed to put pressure on the dorsal vein to keep more blood in. It's also adjustable. I sized mine so I can wear it around the package or just on the shaft. Haven't had a chance to try it though. Just got it. I'll keep you posted. The website is myhardwear, if you're curious.
