Hey guys!

I'm new to this forum and new-ish to Penis Enlargement; I say new-ish because I've been working at the freely posted newbie routine here for awhile (wanted to test it out and see if it worked first). I'm very happy to say that I've had some excellent gains...at my current rate, just doing the 20 minutes of stretching a day gives me about 1/16th an inch per week, and I've gained an inch already, so needless to say I'm quite pleased.

With girth, however, I'm having some problems. My girth is slightly below average I believe (a little under 5") and I just haven't seen any real gains from jelqing. My erection quality has definitely gone up since I started jelqing, but week after week it just doesn't get any thicker.

I realize it takes time, but I want to make sure I'm doing it properly. I've got a membership to MOS and have watched the videos, etc. I have a few very specific questions.

1) Level of erection: I have read that jelqing can be done both semi and fully erect, but I find that it's hard to sustain an erection of 80%+ for more than a few minutes, even with . I don't have any erection problems at all normally (as I said, it's been even harder than usual lately). It doesn't get completely limp, but it goes down to the 35-40% range and stays there unless I stroke it a little to get it hard again. Is jelqing at 30-40% ineffective?

2) Following on the first question, when my erection begins to subside, I'll often stop and jerk a little bit to get my hardon back, and then resume jelqing. But doing this lets the trapped blood out, so is it counterproductive? In other words, do the 600 jelqs have to be done with continous pressure inside the penis for the whole session, or does releasing the pressure to regain my erection make a difference?

3) Burst capillaries...the big ugly purple blotches happen somewhat regularly, and are extremely annoying, because I then generally take a few days off to let them go away. I always do warmups and warmdowns and follow the other precautionary measures, but I still seem to get at least one a month. Will jelqing/stretching when I have them make them worse or result in some greater injury?

4) Following on that last question, the burst capillaries tend to happen when I am using the "ok" sign with my thumb and forefinger to jelq. I read about another technique where the sides of the penis are "pinched" between the thumb and forefinger (so that there is pressure on the sides, but nothing against the underside of the penis). I've tried this technique and it seems to help in avoiding the blood vessel problem, and also allows me to put much greater pressure on my penis, but is it effective for increasing girth?

Any help or advice you guys could give would be greatly appreciated...I'm seeing a long-distance gf in 4 months and would really like to surprise her ;)

No, at 40-50% you will be stretching the penis for length more than girth. It does take a while to get the hang of it but you will eventually be able to train at 80% or above. This is where girth gains lurk. Using the Penomet or the Bathmate or Hydromax will help you maintain a good erection level so you can super-set the jelqing after short pump session. This should work for you but if you are still having issues it may be important to include a supplement or medication. I would suggest Titan or Male Extra pills to gain better erection and if that is not enough grab some generic Viagra and the issue will be solved for sure.

No, everyone needs to do this. I will stimulate myself every time I lose erection quality. If you are going limp, relax and let yourself the time to become erect again. This will become easier with time and you will become more and more proficient at with this art.

Spots and bruising happens to the best of us, it is normal due to the thinness of the skin and the pressure being used. Warm up/downs will help, also include some penile massage as seen in DLD Testicle Health Massage and Stretch, this will also help defeat discoloration and the like plus it will help you hang longer, lower and heavier in flaccid state.

As long as it is bringing you expansion it is fine. Everyone has their own unique way of jelqing and the grip they use, find what works for you and stick with it!

I wish you gains and happiness in this new journey!

How many weeks have you been doing the newbie routine for?

1) The harder the better, quite simply you will receive a larger volume increase the more intense the exercises are (but be careful not to over do it).

2) That's fine, there is a hormonal response in the penis which aids our quest (somebody more adept can explain) when new blood flows in, the key is intensity rather than duration (keeping blood in the penis), we want to break the tunica to use a metaphor.

3) Happens to most people, if anything it indicates good intensity.

4) If it feels as intense then go for it.

DLD and rakas, thanks so much for the advice! I've been trying to minimize the number of times I re-stimulate myself, which is probably one reason my girth gains have not been happening. I've also been focusing more on duration rather than the number of reps themselves (on the logic that 600 2-second jelqs take 20 minutes) so I generally just put a 20-25 minute and jelq until its over lol. Based on what you guys have said, I'm going to approach it more like weight lifting sets, where I jelq until i start to lose intensity, then take a "break" to get my erection back and do another "set."

rakas, I've been doing the newbie routine since the beginning of October, so about 9 weeks or so although with some downtime due to bruising, as mentioned. But I actually started the newbie routine and did it for awhile a few years ago...I was making gains but stopped because my work schedule/personal life got too hectic to give time to it. So when I say I've gained an inch of length, that includes both periods I've been doing Penis Enlargement. I'm back for good this time though :)

Yup, the weight lifting metaphor is a good one.

That's good, do you know what you've gained just in these 9 weeks.

Never a problem my friend, this is what the Brotherhood is about!

Stupid question:

Does jelqing result in a dick that's skinny at the base and fatter towards the end? I mean, I don't see how you can apply the pressure to expandthe base, so all the growth would occur maybe an inch out.

I'm sure DLD can give a more thorough explanation on this, but he said somewhere that stretching actually helps to expand the base. Go figure :)

Rakas: just shy of half an inch. When I resumed I was about 1/16th of an inch shy of 7" BPenis EnlargementL (up from a little under 6.5" BPenis EnlargementL when i first started Penis Enlargement). I'm now just under 7.5", and at my current rate of growth it's only a week or 2 away...major milestone for me length wise :)

That and from what I understand the more advanced girth excercises correct the "baseball bat" effect. I'm not at that point yet, though, so I'll give a better answer when I am. For now I'm taking one more day to let my latest nasty bruise heal and then I'm trying my new approach to jelqing based on your guys' input...I feel confident that I've "got it" now so we'll see how it goes!

Not stupid at all.

Many Penis Enlargement exercises have different effects alone. Stretching leads to a penis that gets thinner the closer to the head you go, jelqing can lead to a baseball bat effect (thicker from the mid shaft upward) whilst pumping cause a donuts style effect however doing these exercises in tandom generally results in a broadly equal penis (and at any rate it won't be pronounced enough for a woman to comment in a negative way).

I can't say I agree 100% but the ending statement holds a lot of truth.

I should have qualified the statement by saying can lead to, clearly these are not issues that everybody experiences.
