jakb... You know how the X-40 is smallest at its base? The gaiter. Because it sucks in, and gives you those indentation rings around your penis base? And basically you can't gain any base girth because there is no room for it to go..
Does the x40 solve this problem? Is there more room? Did they make it so the gaiter doesn't get sucked into your base as much? Also, with the Herc, you can literally look at the gaiter and see that the pump's smallest point is two rings up, the space between the 2nd and 3rd ring. Is the x40 like this?
You have 6" girth, so do you get the rings of death still with the x40?
Also, I've heard people complaining about suction not being the same/as good as the herc when the x40 came out and ppl started buying it. What are your thoughts on this? Does the x40 have the same aggressive pull as the herc?

The x40 solved those base issues. The initial ring of the comfort pad is where it is smallest. They fixed that problem, the gaiters are all slightly bigger than the comfort which reduces but doesnt eliminate gaiter bites. With the suction I didnt notice a downgrade from the herc. It seemed really close to the same in terms of strength.
The x40 is comfortable. The comfort pad eliminates that painful base ring. I fortunately/unfortunately outgrew it. I now use the penomet as it has a bigger girth base. I truthfully do miss the x40but cant currently get a good session from the x40 because of outgrowing the base. The gaiters bite me.
