Hey guys,
I've had a Bib hanger for about two weeks now and I've recently developed this nagging ache in my penis, which is particularly apparent when I kegel. It is not so much painful but just annoying and bit uncomfortable. I felt it a bit during an erection as well. It seems to manifest whenever blood enters my penis. As I said it is not painful but it is most certainly a nuisance. Now, I'm willing to deal with this if it just means that this is my body healing the stressed out parts but i am hoping to God that i didn't break or damage anything internally. I usually wear the Bib hanger relatively tight so that I can fully grasp the internals. Also, I am only able to get a good stretch at my current max weight which is about 10 lbs. Anything lower than 8 and the 'good stretch' feeling of hanging is not felt as much. I started at 7 lbs because I was very much able to handle it (been Penis Enlargement'ing for awhile). Currently I am hanging BTC in an effort to stretch my ligs. My routine consists of about an hour to hour and a half of about 25 minute sets.
 
Guys still hang weights??? Lol, 10lbs is childs play in resistance, tried expressive stretching? It will make you retire your hanger. Check out the sticky post in the main Penis Enlargement forum.
 
SWM, I've only been hanging for two weeks. That is why I'm at such a low weight.. I should in fact be much lower but I'm ignoring Bib's advice about starting at super low weights like 2 and 5 lbs as I can hardly feel a stretch with those weights.

I also just looked up expressive stretching. Sorry, but to me it just seems another 'flavor of the week' exercise. Does not BTC hanging also remove inner penis via extending the ligs? Hanging seems to be working for me so far. It is the ONLY pe approach where I can see very visible gains afterward. I thought you were a hanger?
 
Different strokes for different folks... I tried hanging for 6 mnths and didn gain a thing. Manual stretches worked best for me. But maybe u should start off at lower weight and work your way up

Why are you so anti-hanging all of a sudden? Just weird because you recommended it to me not too long ago.

I'm not "anti" hanging, I just don't feel that most men need to do it. After a lot of thought, exploration of techniques and so on, hanging weights is just not a very logical approach in my opinion. The resistances are so much lower than can be had from manual stretching. I'd rather get 60-100lbs of resistance from stretching, than use the very low amounts of resistance most men will use with hanging. Most weight hanging devices I know of redistribute all of the force onto a very small area of the penis making a very small weight such as 10lbs feel like it's much more.

Yes to each their own. Some dogs will chase their tales until they die. ;)
 
I just don't get it. How can it not be logical given how much you've gained from hanging?
How do you measure that you're getting 60-100lbs of resistance from manual stretching? And does the 60-100lbs of 20mins of stretching equal the 10-20lbs of hours of hanging?

Just an interesting change of opinion to me.

I'm guess stimating on the 60 to 100. But I can curl 50 lbs per hand for reps, so....

I say logical because it makes more sense to do more in less time. I'd rather stretch for 30-60 minutes per day vs a few hours a day.
 
Ive worn an extender for 4 hours nearly every day. lots of manual stretches. but the only time i ever noted a gain was .25 " gain after i did 2 sets of hanging 8 lbs for 10 mins, then wore my extender for 2 hours a few hours later. not sure how long it took for the gain because I didnt really notice until after I quit hanging for a while, and measured out of boredom, I had to remeasure 3 days straight. Almost decided to get my eyes checked, I had been stuck at 7.25 so long I almost gave up on length. Only thing I can contribute for my length gains so far.

I always thought hanging vs manual was what seperated the men from the boys lol. Haha, just kidding. I have a friend getting into Penis Enlargement who 'won't touch hanging' and would rather stick with jelqs and such. Good luck with that. Hanging just seems like a nice passive way to get gains and I've never, ever felt a stretch the way I do whenever I use my Bib. I think my hands wouldv'e gone numb if I were to ever match that type of pull for an extended period of time through manual stretching.

SWM, i wholeheartedly respect your opinions on here. it's just funny that you are more inclined toward manual exercises now. i always thought i was 'chasing my tail', as you said, with manual. now that i'm onto hanging i feel shit's gotten more serious and gains seem more imminent.. if my ridiculous temp gains are any indicator.

I think he's saying that while hanging may have worked for him in the past, he could've achieved quicker gains through other methods thus seeing it now as unnecessary. Personally for me, manual exercises leave a lot to be desired. Nothing against DLD, but the exercises he's come up with are ones that have worked for him and are not necessarily patented to make your dick bigger. I don't know guys, I think mechanical Penis Enlargement is where it's at. You wouldn't work your biceps using your other arm as downward resistance would you?

ACTUALLY, in some bodyweight only training regimens, that IS done. It does work too. Granted, it's not weight lifting per se, but it does increase strength to a degree. I'm using the new grip method I've come up with recently as a basis for my statements in favor of stretching over hanging weights. Keep doing what works if it's working for you.

I'm curious, why do you say this? In the Bib hanger how-to video (http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/showthread.php?17715-BIB-Hanger-How-To-Video) you mention you made gains hanging between 10-17.5 lbs. Were these gains insignificant compared to what you achieved with expressive stretching?

I make my statements based on my own real life experience with stretching and hanging weights. YES, I have gained more with weights...but it was MANY MANY hours of times invested. I feel most men can get MORE out of stretching in MUCH LESS time. That is my main point to convey. If a guy insists on giving hanging weights a shot, great...but be forwarned,you are going to be headed down a very long road...usually.

Any thoughts on combining the two methods; doing some manual stretching to supplement a few sets of daily hanging ?

You could set up superset sessions. I kind of did this with Pyramid Hanging Sets. Basically I would go 20 minutes hanging, 5 minutes stretching, 15 minutes hanging, 5 minutes stretching, 10 minutes hanging, 5 minutes stretching, 5 minutes hanging, 5 minutes stretching. This took some time but it did bring my penis to complete fatigue.

Interesting routine. I suppose the stretching acts as active rest periods. Did you unwrap after each hanging set before the stretching set?
 
Yes, I unwrap after each set. I use this time to do manual stretching and prepare for my next set. It takes time, as I said, but a very good hanging routine. I did this when I had unlimited time about 7 years ago.
