First and foremost I cannot take credit for this, I had a browse on another forum and found something slightly similar.

Anyway we all know that women have no idea of size perception, throwing the term 8" around like its out of fashion and not knowing how rare it is to actually get a dick this size. This as males can demotivate us to an extreme.

Anyway what this guy did to get a more realistic idea of the age old of questions about size is that he went on adult sites that sold dildos, looked at ones around the average male size and then read reviews that females had posted.

It was a fantastic motivation for myself after reading it and it would be great if we could put together some more to get a stronger idea of 'what women want'.

From my experience this does not surprise me at all.

A guy who is 6.5 or 7 will always say he is 8 because it sounds good so women think that is 8 inches. 8 inches is not a measurement, it is a brand name for "good dick".

Like men who are 5"10-5"11 round up to 6. 6 feet is another brand name for "tall guy".

But don't say six inches because she'll think 4. haha

you can have a look, I gave all the links. The point is more based around women not being able to judge size, not that they would want a bigger one. A lot of the best seller dido's on amazon are average sizes.

The point being that a dildo is something I women can choose, she decides what length / girth.

It's more about women (for guys lie-ing) size perception. It's also a nice way of putting your own size into perspective, as most guys, your own package always looks smaller than it is and viewing a dildo of the same size is a real eye opener.

By guys ''lying'' you mean guys lying on this site, or guys lying to women? because either way it doesn't contribute to the study or the reality of what you see is what you get... unless women measure every guy they're with then there's no way to tell... a study on how many dildos are bought from amazon doesn't mean much IMO... if anything it just puts things in prospective when women see how big 8" actually is, or how small 5" actually is... it seems the line drawn for above average is 6.5 when it is actually seen by the naked eye, but clearly the line drawn for above average is 8" when just talked about from memory or imagination.

As to some of the length comments; I've got roughly 8" (depends on my mood and willingness to kegel during sex. Oh yeah it's easier to say 8 inches than 7.93672845 inches long, so i round up. :) ). Like mentioned in the original post, I'm not trying to say girls would not like a bigger penis, if that were the case I wouldn't be pe'ing. With the insertable length comment, I'm just going on what is actually posted on the product description by the supplier on 99% of those dildos. If you in fact got one that was an inch larger, then that has to be a fault, A company wouldn't say it was 7 then make it 8 on purpose. I think they weren't counting the head in the measurement, as there was exactly 7 inches of shaft, then the head, which was 1 inch.

You make a good point, I would say there would be a fair few guys (not all) who when naturally large would be quite lazy in sex and not great fucks, compared to (like you say) someone who has earn t it. That's kinda my POV also, I respect everyone might not see it this way but once you hit 8" I would say you will bottom out the majority of women.
