Try experimenting dude. Try underhand for a month and see then try overhand and see what you get. It really solely depends on YOUR body and how it reacts to it. For me, I like overhand cause I can reach far into the base to get more blood trapped in then force it in my tissues. I've gotten great results from it, in length and girth. But just experiment to see what you like and what works best for YOU
 
Do you get better length results jelqing semi-flaccid or is it pretty much the same whether you do it 50 or 90%?
 
There is so much theory and perspectives on which is better for length, its ridiculous! What I do is start out completely flaccid then work to about 40% erect. I feel that this is targeting length more because I'm not trying to expand the tissue so much as "tear" the tissues. If that makes sense. I think of the ballon theory. It gets bigger and longer when you fill it with water right? But for the penis, when its erect, it gets bigger (girth) while accenting length. My opinion is that when doin flaccid or semi-erect jelqing, you're stretching out the tissues so that more blood can fill it and when it begins to reform it'll be at a more lengthened state. So far, its been going really good. My penis is getting longer, while accenting girth.
 
Hey bishop I just started flaccid jelqing like a week ago and I too am hanging longer not sure that's exactly why but I do get a good stretch out of it.
 
Good looks Bishop. I'm gonna start doing 50% jelqing and see what happens. When you first started flaccid jelqing, how long did it take you to notice length gains?
 
For me, around 2 weeks. My erections were harder too. Another thing I do is when I reach my glans I pull out just a little to get a minor stretch in with each jelq, then I follow with the other hand to fill the tissue with blood then repeat.
 
sounds promising..i've been jelqing for 15 minutes then stretching all angles. Is this a good startup routine?

Good place to start, getting comfortable with the various exercises. The Newbie Routine is a very good place to start using only basic exercises.
