I heard Bib got up to 45 lbs. I have to start hanging. I haven't gained length in so damn long.

Took last night off. Measured for the hell of it, and my flaccid stretched length is going up again! It's "only" a little so far, but all things considered, I'm excited!

Awesome Still, Next thing you know you will be taking more of your swinging dick pictures and showing that monster off again (you crazy brave bastard)! :)

Had another awesome session last night. Did my first set with 30lbs for 10 minutes, second and third sets with 27.5lbs for 15 minutes. All BTC. My ligs have never felt such a great stretch! My shaft is getting a lot of it too.

Damn bro, you're bad ass doing 30lbs BTC. You got me started on hard core hanging also and can really feel the pull on the shaft/ligs. I do three sets of 10-15 minutes using 20lbs straight down. I really feel the fatigue on my ligs on the second and third sets, wow. I wanna try BTC, but will prolly cut the weight in half for that.

BTC takes a little while to get used to. Especially if youre tightly circumcised, you will need time to stretch some skin.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon too.. I'm doing 15lbs SD for 30 minutes to an hour. I've noticed better FSL post workout using heavier weight/less time rather than lighter weight/more time.
Doing blasters beforehand is kickass

Sik - will you please explain the difference in your hanging "straight down" and hanging "BTC"? I thought they were the same thing. Sorry for the dumb-ass question, but I am just learning and paying close attention to these posts and trying to absorb as much info as I can from you vets before I jump into the hanging scene before I get my bib starter which should be coming soon. thanks for your reply. You guys don't know how much it means to us newbie's. I suppose it's the same old thing over and over for you vets, but we appreciate it all the same.

Straight down is usually done while standing. You simply let the weight hang downward. BTC= "between the cheeks", which is hanging while seated, and semi reclined so that the pelvis is tilted up some and the weights/hanger pull in between your ass cheeks. BTC is absolutely the best angle in my personal opinion. It hits the ligaments AND tunica like nothing else for me.

Actually, if you followed BIB's posts as much as I have over the last 5 years you would know that he himself practiced hanging for several hours a day with anywhere from 5lbs up to as high as 40lbs. HE was able to do the "duration vs. load" thing because he worked at home. Permanent elongation will occur with heavy loads in a shorter time period. BIB himself has said in the past that he thought he could probably have had as much or better success using less time than he did.

The amount of weight is not always as important as the duration of the stretch, sure...BUT you better be getting fatigue from the level of weight youre using. Otherwise, no matter how much time, or how many sets you can hang per day, you will not gain. Not much anyway. Fatigue must be had. For myself personally, that means I have to hang with this weight range. That is, if I want to hit fatigue by my first or second set. This is important because most guys who may only be able to reasonably put in 45 minutes to an hour at most a day for hanging, need to make the most of their time. If a guy hangs 3 sets with no fatigue from all that hanging, he might as well have done nothing.

Thanks for chiming in by the way. I enjoy seeing the opinions of others, as valuable or not as they may be.

Still at his best. This is TOP notch advice right here.
