Did another night of it last night. Total of three, 15 minute sets. First two sets were with 25lbs, the last set was 27.5lbs. Woke up this morning, and did a basic manual stretch , just pulling by my glans straight downward, and was totally feeling the fatigue from the work last night! With only about 45 minutes of total hang time!

This really is not anymore resistance than can be had with manual stretching ...I'm sure there are many, if not most guys who can stretch with 30lbs++ of resistance. The big difference with hanging though, and perhaps the part of it that requires the biggest learning curve, is the fact that you can KEEP that stretch for several minutes at a time vs. maybe a minute at a time.

Manual stretching kicks my ass personally. Both physically and mentally. My hands get worn out, I know I'm not getting the workout I should be because my hands are tired, and therefor, I just end up quitting, or not putting my all into it.

The biggest challenge for the hanger though is finding out the proper hanger settings through trial and error that allow him to hang with as much resistance as can be had with his hands. After he tackles that challenge, the next big obstacle to overcome is the mental one. The fear of injury. Even I have struggled with this part of it. I still do. He has to realize that his penis can in fact support more weight than he could ever dream of needing to hang from it to take him to his length goals, and that as long as his methods are safe, he will be ok as long as he is carefull and uses some common sense.

I hear ya on that DLD. Some guys do get carried away and exceed the 15 to 20 minute time frame. We'll keep ya posted though.

Sounds cool me man.
I myself have been doing 15lbs [enough for me right now] for 25/30 mins and it seems to work pretty well thus far, infact I have gotten a blood blister from it lol

Had to back it down to 22.5 lbs last night for the hanging sets, but still got a lot of good work in. Did 3 more sets before I had to quit. Ligs are still feeling very worked, so is internal penis in the "shaft". Only 'problem' I'm having so far is a little irritation on the edge of my glans...the "ridge". Been treating it a couple times a day with Bacitracin ointment.

Damn, I have never hung this heavy before! I am really loving it though. I sweat a little during my sets because I have to admit, I AM still anxious/nervous about the level of weight I'm using, but I have never felt such an intense stretch in both the ligs and penis at the same time. I am going to attempt at least one full 15 minute set tonight back up at 25lbs.

Will keep hanging as many days in a row as I can.

Geez,

I must be the hanging equivilent of a cheap drunk. I've been hanging only 7lbs and will be working up to 8 next week and have already seen a .25 gain. I don't measure again till July 16th, but I'm sure I've gained at least another .25 since my last measure on June 9th.

I sometimes have a tough time with 7lbs, I can't imagine hanging 25lbs...Ouch

But then again, I have only been doing this for six weeks, so I guess I my ligs aren't as toughened as some of yours are...

Right now, 25lbs sounds insane to me, but hey, guess a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.

:D, I can relate to those thoughts man. I remember the first time I put any weight on my dick, it was 5lbs and that felt intense as all hell.

Again, research shows that duration is better than load if you want permanent elongation. BIB has also made a point of focusing on hang time instead of load. Many have reported stalling gains when incrementing too fast - reducing loads and increasing duration made gains happen again. But let us know your results. :)

Actually, if you followed BIB 's posts as much as I have over the last 5 years you would know that he himself practiced hanging for several hours a day with anywhere from 5lbs up to as high as 40lbs. HE was able to do the "duration vs. load" thing because he worked at home. Permanent elongation will occur with heavy loads in a shorter time period. BIB himself has said in the past that he thought he could probably have had as much or better success using less time than he did.

The amount of weight is not always as important as the duration of the stretch , sure...BUT you better be getting fatigue from the level of weight youre using. Otherwise, no matter how much time, or how many sets you can hang per day, you will not gain. Not much anyway. Fatigue must be had. For myself personally, that means I have to hang with this weight range. That is, if I want to hit fatigue by my first or second set. This is important because most guys who may only be able to reasonably put in 45 minutes to an hour at most a day for hanging , need to make the most of their time. If a guy hangs 3 sets with no fatigue from all that hanging , he might as well have done nothing.

Thanks for chiming in by the way. I enjoy seeing the opinions of others, as valuable or not as they may be.

This sounds really interesting, I'm going to give it a go even..though I normally hang heavy for 20mins at around 10kgs(20pounds) I’m going to cut the time to 10 or 15 mins and go as heavy as I can handle it...for a total of 1hr then use a ADS for that long duration stretch . I used to hang for hours in the past and besides not making any gains from it personally it sort of makes me depressed... spending so much time locked up in front of the computer or whatever and it also lead to me being inconsistent with pe...it was quite easy to maintain that 2 to 3 hrs of hanging in the first week but after awhile it was just to much to keep up and my pe became sporadic. So I think this heavy duty "hit fatigue early” style hanging will be more achievable.

That's impressive... 25lbs is pretty heavy in itself, but BTC is crazy intense. I've been slowly adding hanging to my routine since i got my Bib and been wanting to work up to some hard core hanging . looking forward to reading your progress.

Yes, I completely agree - I just want attention to the fact that you need to progressively build up to the loads you are referring to here. Newbies reading this might think that there is nothing to gain from 5lbs, and that they need to get straight to 20-30lbs. BIB is a veteran, and not even you could safely use 40lbs for hanging right now, do you not agree?

But like you say - fatigue is the goal, and if you're not feeling anything you need to increase the load. As I mentioned in dashdeming's thread, research also shows that we need to load the tissue up to 40% of its maximum load bearing capability for maximum plastic deformation, and according to data (a study done on the tensile strength of penile tissue in humans, which I for the life of me can't find right now), this load would be far more than commonly used in hanging . So there is definitely merit to the idea of using heavier weights, as long as the safety issue is considered.

Make sure to record your gains - this is very interesting stuff.

Well yea, of course any new hanger is not going to start anywhere near these heavier weights. Even the guys totally lacking in common sense will figure that out.

If you can dig up those studies, feel free to post them, in a new thread of course. I'd like to look at them as well.

I know that I was feeling an awesome stretch last night on the two sets I did with 25lbs though! WHEW! 25lbs BTC is awesome!

I find BTC very hard and sore at high weights cos of my damn shitty loose skin at the base.
For now, I must hang semi BTC.
