what helps me stay in it is streching good before strapping on . I also use the Velcro mod with foam ring and ace wrap its just about finding your sweet spot . I also plan on buying the tugger

I ALWAYS do manuals before getting in the SG, always.

Yeah I'm totally at a loss for this fucking thing. No matter WHAT I do it seems like I can't wear it for more than half an hour. Which probably means I'm not using the methods correctly but who knows. Just feels like I keep spending money and wasting time and it's really starting to piss me the fuck off. As a sidenote, in my first 45 days now on MOS I've gained about .4 in EL and somewhere between .5 and .6 in BPFSL. This is really fucking frustrating though, because I would really like to use this thing, as it seems like such a good device.
Are you slipping out or going cold and numb? What causes you to only do 30 min? People that slip out usually need a thicker wrap to stay in. I slide the foam pad on and wrap a 12in long piece of ace self adhesive bandage around that then crank the comfort strap all the way down. I don't see how his wouldn't work for you. I do this everyday for months and have no problems

Both slipping out and going cold and numb. After about 15-20 minutes I start to feel it slipping and from there the pain starts. The Velcro strap has made it marginally better. I have tried wrapping with Ace, tried wrapping with Ace and foam, tried wrapping with foam, cloth, AND Ace, and many other methods. I just want to know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'm overestimating how comfortable it should feel, but given that I've always had a high threshold for pain relative to most other people I know, I seriously doubt that.

I don't have any pain at all when I'm in it except sometimes in my ligs after a while. Only reason I take a break after an hour to 1.5 hrs is getting cold head so I take a break to get circulation back. Never because of pain. To me slippage causes the most pain. As long as I'm in tight I'm good

Thanks carpe,

I stretch for at least 30 minutes before I put the SG on, it's not about being stretched--I must be doing something wrong I just don't know what. I tried a version of the Velcro mod and that's kind of what I'm using now. Were you able to find double sided velcro? I asked for it at the hardware store and they looked at me like I was crazy and showed me a bunch of other Velcros (sticky sided, etc.)
You can get the Velcro on amazon

You can get it from Walmart, Michaels, even some of the larger CVS stores. It does not need to be two sides, you can double it up yourself.
