penis girth is too big for the SG?

TO,
I am 6" erect base girth too...i don't get stuck but if I am watching �naked people movies� with the extender on I get hard and then super hard like steel because the base of the SG acts as a clamp.

The only way to get out of it is to let my erection go down which sometimes takes awhile cause I love the feeling and visual of having my cock so big and hard in the extended state.

I guess one would call this bone pressed erect length which is 1/2" longer than my erect length out of the extender.

My flaccid base girth is almost 5.75 inches so it can be a struggle sometimes to get the sg on. In fact I can't if I do any kind of pumping or girth work before the sg. I just sanded out the 2 "bumps" and a little on the rest of the inside of my sg base with my dremel tool as suggested.
Works like a champ! (Oh the base also has this little 'ridge' from the injection molder, which rubs right on the skin, which you also loose)

I am also above 6 in base girth erect / over 5 flaccid. No more squeezing it in. Glad this thread came up, never realized the comfort I was missing. Especially the 2 bumps were way annoying, I guess they are even if you are regularly not too girthy cuz they result in irregular pressure.

It's been quite a few years since I used a traction device and my primary complaint was the tight fit at my base. I read several good ideas in this thread that I never tried, but have another idea that might help. Buy a golf club swing weight and put it on first. This would be more comfortable pressing against your flesh and might be big enough to hold the base of the traction device. Haven't tried it, so would like feedback if it is a good idea.
 
I'm 6.5" at the base and the extender gets uncomfortable unless I stay 100% flaccid while wearing it, which usually is not the case. The Dremel suggestion sounds excellent! Will be trying that soon and also getting rid of the injection mold ridge should also help.

BTW, what is "VLC"? Nothing comes up in the search when I search for that despite it being mentioned in this thread a few times.

Never mind regarding the VLC. I found it. I guess that is the same concept as the Penimaster Pro. I did a mod on my extender to use the Penimaster Pro head unit. You can put good force on it while remaining comfortable a long time. I'm assuming the VLC is very similar.

I'm the same way. The base of my dick is way too big for the extender when I'm erect. There's no way I can put the extender on if I'm almost hard, and it really hurts if I get hard while I'm wearing it.

The solution for me is simple, though. If I start to get hard while putting the extender on, I pick up a book or my cell phone, whatever, and think about something else until the erection goes down. While wearing the extender, I avoid �naked people movies�, etc. Instead, I work at my computer, watch tv, read a book, etc. It's simply an issue of mind over matter.

I'm still experimenting. So far I tend to think that for strong tension for short time periods the wrap and strap method is probably better. However, for moderate tension for long periods of time the PM Pro is better for me. I can go 2 or 3 hours feeling pretty good with it and I've only had it a couple weeks so I'm not fully conditioned yet. I also run the elastic pretty tight. I can't get the same stretch time with the extender using the wrap and strap.

I love the ease of using the PM Pro. It hides easy under your pants using a leg band and elastic. Literally only takes seconds to put on and take off. I have had zero problems with it coming off.

I'm using a thin coat of KY jelly with my PM Pro. It may work even better with their jelly. I ordered their jelly but still waiting for it to arrive.

Will be a couple months before I have a better opinion based on more use.
