Hey all i've been clamping for about 2 weeks now, and I was just wondering do I have to stay erect for the full duration of my sets? When I lose my erection my penis is still engorged, but I figured its best to stay erect while clamped. :p So does it matter, or not? Thanks in advance!

I would say the best place to be, under constriction, would be in the 80-90% erect range. If you lose your erection level beyond this I would take a short break, re-stimulate and start again. Girth greatly depends on the pressure of expansion to force the enlargement of the Tunica and underlying tissue.

If you drop too far you will lose circulation very quickly. If you can get back up before that happens, you're probably ok but, in my experience atleast, doing this too often within a set can cause your clamped length to shrink a significant amount. That said, the girth tradeoff is pretty impressive too but I'd still be wary.

So what clamping at 100 % will do?

Do you get better expansion from staying in the 80-90 % range?

i apply the clamp at 100% when i can...sometimes 90%. this gives me the best engorgement.and i stimulate while still clamped to keep my erection strong

I do not clamp but the Slow Squash Jelq is very much like clamping and I start at 100% and usually subside to about 90%. every once in a while I will re-stimulate to 100% again. My beliefs on gaining girth is that it is vital to bring ourselves past our normal expansion in order to see gains. So if you are training at 90% erect and get 20% expansion you are gaining 10% in temporary gains which eventually translate to permanent gains, the trick is to get this expansion consistently.
 
Once you start losing the erection, it stops becoming as effective. It's more of a healing exercise if you just have a soft penis filled with blood.
 
if youre losing erection, stimulate to get it back. if it doesnt, take the clamp off, restimulate, then put it back on and do another set
 
I always found it best to wrap and apply my clamp while flaccid. Then slowly work up erection level and clamp tightness. Always worked better for me and the men I taught this method vs. starting erect, then wrapping and putting on the clamp. Constant stimulation during your session will also get you better results.

How does it work better? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? If you start off erect and stay clamped for 5 minutes- you will get a good session. If you start flaccid and stay clamped for 5 minutes- 1-2 of those minutes would have to go to get you hard, which means that you got 1-2 minutes of actual gain-period less than if you start off erect? Am I wrong (cause I am pretty sure I am mistaking somewhere), and if yes- where? :)
 
Well I'm really trying not to come off as promoting my own devices here. Look up newsize.yuku.com and look at the how-to guide I wrote for that device. The way I've always related starting flaccid vs erect is, try squeezing your penis while it's as erect as possible. You likely can't squeeze it very much. Now let your erection subside slightly and try again. You have more give and can get better expansion. With the clamp in place before starting, you are mimicking having your hand there but it's fixed, rock solid and won't get tired making a less effective grip. Weaker grip means less expansion from lower pressure.

squeezing my erect cock leads to a lot more expansion then squeezing my semi erect cock. clamping flaccid or semi erect then working up to erect doesn't provide any more expansion then putting on the clamp fully erect. it just takes longer. either way i have left behind clamping for the greater expansion that come with electric vacuum pumping and the bathmate XX-40

Plus I think this is a safer way to enlarge. Clamping just can cause so many negative issues that it scares me. I understand the theory behind it and I know that is does cause good expansion but it also causes discoloration and other skin issues. The closest I come to clamping is SlowSquashJelqs.

Well we have our own experiences I guess. Wrapping a rock hard erection, then trying to get a clamp to close down on it is much more difficult to me. I start flaccid, wrap, place my clamp, leaving the clamp loose. Then I begin stimulation. Adding a little tightness, more stimulation to slightly more erect, a little more tightness and so on until I'm maximally engorged and the clamp won't go any tighter.

very true...we do all have our own experiences.wrapping my hard cock and then putting the clamp on my fully erect penis takes no more then 10-15 seconds for me.
