I have added dry pumping into my bag of tricks. And have been pumping my balls at low vacuum so they get a decent stretch and with the fluid build up afterwards. I now find that when I dry pump I can get a good seal at the base with too much pull on my sack against the tube. So longer periods of low vacuum pumping and little to no pressure of my balls being pulled against the tube. Keep in mind I did not mind my size prior to pumping them. Just did not like the pressure or pull I was getting with my X-40 Bathmate or my elliptical dry tube.
