Hi I'm new here and appreciate any help given

Im currently following the DLD noobie routine on a 2on 1off 2on 2off basis (4 training days per week)

I've never used my extender before and want to know how to break myself in using it whilst doing a manual routine at the same time

I had the idea of starting to use it after my workout to prevent turtling (moderate stretch), kind of like using a sleeve or a wrap to prevent turtling and go from there.

I have played around with it and found it comfortable, so thats no drama

thankyou gentlemen

Yep take a look at SRT routine,i would say you can wear the extender after the routine for 1-2 hours to keep the tissue elongated to help healing faster and better...just read the SRT to understand how healing works.

yeah agreed, do some manuals for like 30 minutes like the newbie routine then wear the sg for an hour, then take sg off to return circulation and get some more manual work in then reattach the sg and keep repeating, i find its better to take sg off every hour for like i said circulation but also it keeps the tension up, after an hour of wearing the sg you will find the tension gettin less and less. plus getting more sets of manuals in can only be a bonus right?

So wear the extender after my manual workout is what im understanding

Do I put it on after the warm down?

And after using the extender do I warm down again?

What im trying to understand is using the extender. Do I take breaks during the first hour and at what tension?

I really dont feel confident using it for an hour straight off. Can I start with blocks of ten minutes each workout until I reach 1 hour?

I also tried looking through the SRT thread. The first page was good but after that its too much to read I was overwhelmed

The first page of SRT is the most important so study that for good practice in gaining, healing, exercise and tools. You do not have to wear the SizeGenetics all day, you can wear for 1/2 hour at a time and take a 5 minute break in between each set. A warm up can be some light basic stretching, this will get blood flow going and stretch out the ligaments and prepare you for the extender. If you follow the SRT workout you will want to work in Manual Stretching too but that does not have to happen right away. Take you time and learn and master the SizeGenetics and from there you can add to your routine.

Shorter sets will make you give up easily.

the 10min idea was to build up slowly each workout to avoid injury. I'd rather spend more time on taking it slow.

Ive got a 5 year commitment to PE, so theyll be no giving up

We are always welcoming to a new innovation and having someone who is willing to experiment on themselves. I hope you fair well with this method. Even after you build up great tolerance I suggest you never go longer than an hour in the SizeGenetics, the Phallosan can be worn for much longer, even over night. The difference between the two is the SizeGenetics is much more intense while the Phallosan allows for longer periods of gaining and healing. The two work wonderful together and there are also mods that use both of them as one.

I already have a X4 extender I bought a while ago, and also a silicone sleeve.

While the X4 fits comfortably, I'm not sold on the apparatus of extenders themselves. Even after 30mins of using it, I get ALOT of lig ache in my penis and thats with extensive warming up. I'm not game to keep it on for longer

At the moment I can't even complete 2 sets of DLD's noob routine (stretching only) without getting a lot of ligament ache during & after, so I'm still a far cry off from adding in anything until I can build up to 3 sets.

I'm also probably going to cut down to 3 workout days per week, because 4 seems like its becoming too much. At least then I have 4 off days in which to experiment getting into the extender

You are going perfect. I did a big mistake wore a lot of extender in the beginning of my p.e. programme.

I suggest you listen to your body.

And this applies to all PE work. Not everyone is built the same so we need to really look and listen to our bodies as we adjust to new tools or exercise.
