I know the studies out there say one thing, but alot of women I talk to have had partners with way above so called average cocks. Most recently, this woman told me of an ex who she measured at 12.5 inches, and a girth she could not get her hand around (7+). She also mentioned she has had 8 & 9 inch partners as well. Now she isnt the first one to tell me this....I have had alot of FWB (Friends with Benefits) who have had similar - but no one with that 12 + inch level. Dont doubt her measuremnts - she is a scientist by training and had a ruler so she knew what she was doing.

This anecdotal evidence, albiet only my own experience, leads me to beleive the average is larger than the studies report. And hence, why at 7.5 x 5.5 inches I feel small.

On a side note - too big isnt good most women tell me - the 12 + could never go in all the way, so it limited the sex, even though he was very gentle. Ironically, the largest and smallest partners she had were both over 6'3" tall.

I think that the average size is smaller....around 5.5 length and 4.75 girth...but thats just from different large scaled sources...theres really no way to know though. Im just glad there is Penis Enlargement to defy the theary and make all men larg.

I really disagree with this.... that would make the average BPenis EnlargementL 7 or 7.5". No way. From what I can gather, the average penis size is 5.5 - 6.5" BPenis EnlargementL, meaning the average NBP would be say as low as 4.5" or as high as 6", but not 6.5".

This could also be a shit test. ANYONE in the seduction community will tell you that women shit test all the time. She probably is just doing it to see if you crumble, and that will tell her that you are not the confident man she wants. A shit test is a means of value calibration in women to see if you are high enough value for her to even waste time on.

Also, women have NO CLUE on sizes. I mean unless she stood there with a fucking ruler how is she to know. A man with a natural sized penis around 8 X 6 is SO rare that a girl probably thinks it is around 12 X 7.

However, I do believe that the real average is not the average that most women experience. I think this is because guys with smaller penises don't have sex as much due to lower self confidence in the dating arena. These guys may start to hesitate and wierd out a women when it comes to getting physical, where as a guy with a bigger penis will have no hesitation. So, I think the average of guys getting play is slightly different than the guys not getting play. I think this is exhibited in both of the condom surveys. One of the condom surveys show a larger average size than the Kinsey survey. The other condom size survey was at Cancun (spring break) and the men knew that they would probably never see the women again so it was again at the "Real" average size.

You know, this whole talk of 'average' is really a moot point. It's just the highest point on the bell curve. I mean, we all want something to compare ourselves to, to consider standard or normal, but it should also be kept in mind that fully half of all penis' are BIGGER than average, just as half are smaller than average. It's possible for a woman to have dated a string of huge guys because they're in the above average 50%, just as it's possible for a woman to date a string of guys who were in the bellow average 50%. So let me turn this around:

Would you doubt a woman who claimed that her last three boyfriends were 3" erect?

Now granted, I doubt this woman was having sex with a man who was more than a foot long, but at the same time, I can understand coolbreeze's point. In the end, expirence is not a good measure of what is average, only study and objective observation provide accurate results, which is to say: 5.25"-6.5". Don't sweat the big ones.
 
Blah blah blah women cant judge size no matter what they say. I've seen women carpenters who couldnt measure for shit. I learned to stop asking women stupid questions several years ago. Exactly Harmonic...like I said...anecdotal evidence is statistically weak...but it does affect how we think...when I keep hearing stories like these ...I wonder..perhaps Luke is right...smaller penis men dont have as much sex?

I'm not too sure if this applies here but here goes anyway. I was watching on one of t hose discovery or science channels about how humans evolved sexually from other primates. If man had the relative size penis as a gorilla I believe the average male would be around 4 inches or less as compared to 6 inches. It mentioned that the human male has the largest penis size of all the primates on average. They said that this suggests that early human woman chose mates who had larger reproductive organs for whatever reason. Now take this any way you want to but these are the possible conclusion I've come up with for whatever its worth.

1. the natural instinct of human woman is to look for a mate that has a large penis.

2. this desire has evolved into something else (ex.search of mate who has money, intelligence, job security, etc.)

3. human woman has genetically selected men which has caused men now have the largest penis of all primates moving the average higher to 6in. So technically if you look at humanity on a much broader time-line a man over 4 inches is doing damn well and could be considered pretty large, historically speaking.

Laughing my ass off, what a great representation of a huge dick, makes one think about being too big.

The perfect size in my opinion is 8 x 6, average size is around 5.5 x 5. Since average is 2.5" shorter than 8" I would say this would be enough for any woman. 12 x 7, very unlikely but I could be wrong.

How would they possibly know that? They surveyed somewhere in the 250 men range so they really made an assumption there. I believe that the odds of a natural 9 are closer to 1 in a million or more. Maybe a 7" penis but never a 9.

What Is The Average Penis Size?

What is Average Penis Size?... the question so many men want a real answer to. If you are anything like me the phrase "average penis size" can mean many different things and leave you feeling confused about the definitive answer. Looking on-line will make things even more confusing due to the numerous surveys and studies conducted around this issue. I visited every conceivable study the Internet has and picked two studies I felt to be most accurate out of the vast collection of sites.

The Kinsey study is one of the biggest and most famous penis size studies ever done. It was done in 1948 and involved 3,500 college males. I thought this to be a great study with some minor flaws. One being most of the men in the study were white, this is a problem because it leaves doubts about race cross sections. The other being the method of measurement, the subject simply held a white card against their penis and marked their length on the card, which was later measured. Even though this was medically viewed it leaves a large area of error, The Kinsey study concluded the average erect length was 6.21 inches and the average erect girth was 4.85 inches. Average Flaccid length was found to be 3.89 inches and flaccid girth 3.75 inches on average.

Other studies fall short of any kind of ethical standard because of method of measurement (Usually done unassisted by the subject). These studies have such a broad element of error that making a conclusion here would be wrong. Men generally will not be honest in these situations due to the inconclusive studies that have spawned unconfirmed rumors of average size. Most men when asked what they believed average size was would say it to be in the 6.5 inch area. So when measuring the penis most will stretch the truth above this point to avoid embarrassment. Statistical surveys and self-perception questionnaires have caused more confusion. Based on the evidence, the answer confirmed is still a cloudy 6 to 6.5 inches. I though this was untrue and a very unfair size for science to conclude, so I continued to search.

The one study I did like most, is Lifestyles Condoms. I think it left the smallest amount of error. In the Spring 2001 in Cancun, Mexico, Lifestyles gathered a total of 301 male volunteers over 18 years old. Each subject was measured by a researcher, which eliminated the cheating factor. The results of the Lifestyles survey found that average penis erect length is 5.87 inches and erect girth is 4.97 inches. Also, according to the survey, 54% of subjects measured between 5.5 inches and 6.3 inches in erect length with 53.3% measuring between 4.72 inches and 5.11 inches in girth. I liked everything in this study but the amount of subjects and the race and penis size inconsistencies.

What I think to be the most definitive answer:
In my opinion, considering all of the information above, I would conclude that the average erect penis measures closer to 5.5 inches than the previously believed 6.5 inches in length. As far as girth is concerned 5 inches is what I believe to be the average. These may be my opinions but I would like to let you know I have studied very closely all surveys of validity and found these numbers to be most unbiased.

I think that wether we are above, below or right smack in the middle of what average is, it gives us a better game plan when the actual number is true. For the person who feels his 5.5" penis is small, this information becomes very relative to him. For the person that falls short of this number, it gives him a solid, realistic goal to work towards. For the men who fall above this number it gives the added confidence we all desperately seek. But in the end, the name of the game is enlargement. The average size will no longer have such strong meaning to you because you will be far from average.

I agree! And the only reason I am skeptical is because I've been with a lot of women. Probably more than I would want to admit (believe it or not). I have found that there are many woman who want to bring this size topic up and many who bring it up because they somehow want to impress you that they've hung (pun intended) with the big boyz. To be fair there will never be a perfect answer on the average size issues. I seriously doubt that the average would be nearer 8", out of all the studys i have read, not one had these claims. They all seem to claim the average is between 5.5-6.5" EL and 4.75 - 5.25" EG. I lay at around 6.25" EL and i prefer too see myself as at the high end of average rather than just average but thats purly for a confident boost reason. Were you decide to mark average between those measurements is more of a personal preference, however i do feel going dramtically smaller or larger that than them is just being unrealistic.

Scientist or not i doubt anyone can measure consistently purly from looking at a penis or even using hand size. I mean look at the people on this forum, we are some of the most educated people on penis size and yet if you look on the picture proof sections, guess's always have a fairly large range. So imagine a "uneducated" (in pe terms) person guessing these sizes without a ruler, these guess would most likely be way off.

Another point is that women know that guys are consious about penis size, its a wide known fact.
