Thanks a lot man!! I am really going to to this man!! I cannot change the past but I can change the Future. God has put two amazing people in my life recently. A great girlfriend which is of God and has morals and belives in his Name. And a great military buddy that just got back from 4 years and he is on Fire for God.
Since meeting these two people I have delted all my adult entertainment, reading the bible, and having bible study with Keith and my girl everyday for hours. And really on Fire for God man. I feel better about life than ever before. About my surgery, I am not going to have it, this is all in Gods control and if he wanted me to have it, he would make it so it does, but he has closed that door and opened me a new one through faith in the healing power of Jesus.

Cool man. I probably dont have a lot of the same beliefs, but I support your efforts and dedication. Its not hard to do things like this when its something you truly believe.

To have a military buddy like that is something. It has to be tough to be a Christian in the military, I would think. Let's be honest--most of those guys live some pretty immoral lives, though I have the utmost respect for their service to the country. Until recently, when he got a new job, I worked with a guy that spent nine years in the Marines and now serves in the Air Force reserves. While he told me he was a devout Baptist, tithing and going to church functions regularly, he regularly made some pretty crude remarks about most of the women we worked with that went WAY BEYOND "She's pretty", if you know what I mean. I know he cheated on his wife with at least one woman in the past. Knowing how self-conscious I am about my appearance he would ridicule me at times telling me I'd never "get any pussy", as if he knew a damn thing about my private life. Anyhow, I thought the proper thing was to not promote sex outside of marriage, being he was a Christian. I guess I just expected more from such a person. I could hardly keep from laughing in his face when he would get on the occasional kick about how I needed to accept Jesus as my savior.

Yeah it's people like him that give us Christians a bad name. People see him and think "what's he got that I don't? What's the big deal about Christianity, they're no different than us."
