Resizing can be a bitch but to run the forum at optimum speed it is important for us to take smaller size files. But we do run at the best resolution on the average HD monitor.
Resizing is more about seeing the whole image in the monitor without it going out of screen.
I guess I'll eventually figure this out and post pics again, it's just that I have been working on this for over a week on a new MacBook Air and it is almost the same as a normal MacBook save for the way it wants to upload pics to [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MoS[/words]. It's driving me a little nuts, but I'm sure I will eventually be able to do it. The problem I think is with Pixil Express, when ever I resize it to the limit dimensions for the site, it saves the resized pic in some other place that I have not been able to find. I guess it's OK to click the link to see the pic, though I prefer to see them on the page like I use to do it. I do have an old photobucket site where I store my photos for forums etc, but I never used it with any of the photos that are on here from 2012, those I got directly from iphoto on this very MacBook I am now using to post this. I did however take them with my ipad and sent them to this computer via e-mail, where I saved them to the iphoto file. So there it is!! My whole life's story in one paragraph.ADF;592989 said:

just throw image tags around the address and they will appear in the thread.
