Have done some reading, and can't find much in the following concerns. Have done wet jelquing in the past, and nothing else. No injuries then. Fast forward to three years later, and wanted to try the Bathmate x40 for diameter gains.
Have been using the X40 for eight weeks, three to four times a week, two sets of five to seven minutes, erection in tube, under pressure. Wet jelqs in between pressurized sets. After using Bathmate both times, finish with three sets of slow wet jelqs, different directions, and doing PC contractions for about ten minutes.
With the Bathmate, I'm using enough pressure that the best way to describe it is, it's enough pressure that I catch myself looking at the time to see how far I am from the five to seven minute mark where I stop and jelq. Maybe just a pump away from it becoming too painful.. But no discoloration, or any visual problems.
Last three weeks, I've noticed a loss of size when erect, sex with gf. Have also been losing erections during sex, and that never happened before. Size is down considerably, at an inch less in length. Damn! Diameter just a little less as well. There's a feeling of numbness (that's a 3/10 in numbness), and a very slight, small burning sensation. The "pain" of the burning sensation is a small amount, 2/10 I would guess. Overall, seems like my sex drive is there (not like before though), but ability has crashed, even though my hormone panel from this week, came back with testosterone level of 898. The desire is there, but ability, and size, I can't say the same about at the moment...

It sounds as though you are experiencing prolonged fatigue. This does make it difficult to get full eq and in turn it appears that you have lost size. In reality the size is still there, you only need to strengthen your Pelvic Floor Muscles doing Kegels as seen in the Newbie Routine. If you have been doing kegels I would say you need to put more time between sessions so fatigue is less. You can also invest in some Viagra, this will help you get through the tough times. Keep in mind, as detailed in SRT, fatigue or lack of erection quality is the perfect time to do flaccid length work.
 
add edging to your routine...this will teach your penis where the PONR is and how to maintain that, well...edge, lol. This will also up your discipline game by not having an orgasm even though it feels like you should.

Thank you very much! Seems you were right. I took both Viagra and cialis yesterday, and after my gf (guess that's what we are...), started Lingam massage, I had her hold her fingers around the base with one hand, pushing down, and holding tight, and noticed the size was back. She is telling me there's a slight curvature now though, and I do notice it. Strange. And am reading SRT now. Am a former competitive bodybuilder, and am liking the principles of rest between training so that the tissue can actually repair itself- hopefully stronger. The daily use of the Bathmate, and other devices does make me wonder if so many are overtraining the penile tissue, which we all know leads to atrophy in other muscle groups... Food for thought... Will start flaccid length work now as well. Thanks again!

Great angle on what SRT is. So similar in the ways you have put forth. I also brought super-set methodology from Gym training into the mix too.

After reading through the SRT thread, it makes total sense. Can see where putting the tissue under an extreme load for a short duration, then wrapping (traction), so it can "heal" stronger/bigger in the "correct" position- long. Btw, are there any videos you'd recommend for this? With proper form demonstrated, would help prevent injuries, and lack of progress on my end. Thanks again! (And for the SRT, sounds like I'll need to buy more- in her words - "torture stuff." Lol)

Off topic, I copied your super set pattern in PE and applied it to my night prayers. Very effective.
