I hope the new LM's come soon because I'm getting the best ligament stretches I've even had while using the current model.
I like to wrap with about 30" of grey theraband (cut to about 3.5" wide). I tape the edge, then wrap about 8 inches of stretchy self adhesive wrap over the theraband. I then clamp into the LM.
I then push the LM between my legs and simply stand. The bars of the LM are now tucked under my cheeks and I get a great stretch. For the first 7 or 8 minutes I'm bending over slightly forward, but after a set or two I'm very slightly leaning backwards. I normally do two sets of about 15 minutes (or two games of multiplayer Halo). Its intense, but the fact that its passive helps to keep your mind off the stretch.
I personally think this excercise is safer and more effective than hanging (at least for me). I'm now stretching for about 30 minutes a day and would expect to see good gains within a month or two. I'm sore all the time.
I'd love to see what other LM owners think about this excercise.
