Hello Gents,

I started DLD's First Routine 2 days ago and I have a couple quick questions.

First day I did all stretches, 300 2 second jelqs, 100/50 kegel routine. Then I also did 10 minutes in my new Bathmate.
Today I did all stretches, 300 2 second jelqs, 100/50 kegel routine. Then I did 6 minutes in the Bathmate.

Firstly, how much discomfort am I supposed to be feeling when stretching/jelqing/Bathmate. I use baby powder for stretching and it doesn't hurt but I pull until it is a relatively uncomfortable stretch. Jelqing gets to feel like I'm about to pop the head of my penis, again not painful, but I pause about every 100 to let the discomfort fade. The Bathmate is just straight power...I pump it until I feel it'll break it off, but I'm only to about the 15/16 line with a 6" penis.

Also, my first time pumping with the Bathmate, it caused the "hole" of my penis to swell up pretty decent and also the underside right below the mushroom to puff up like a puffer fish. Is that normal as well? Today when I did 6 minutes it didn't do it as bad.

I'm also using the uncle's wrap and cortisone cream. Thanks for the advice and sorry for my lack of terminology, still learning. Hoping to see some gains!
 
The head become swelled along with the opening of your urethra is from over pumping, the best method to combat this and actually bring faster gains is to go with the Bathmate Supersets that are in the SRT Routine. You will pump for 5 minutes and then directly after jelq for 5 minutes and repeat this 3 times. This will reduce swelling but increase tissue expansion. Soreness is normal after stretching or an intense workout. There can also be some soreness in the exercises themselves that takes a little bit of time to become used to. During jelqing, since so much blood is being directed to your head it is perfectly normal to feel that amazing expansion. You look like your on the right path with some minor adjustments you should be just right.
 
Thanks for the quick reply DLD. I'll definitely try to tone it down a bit with the pumping. And I'll switch up my jelqing routine as well.

I also have aquired a few "blood spots" on the head of my penis now. I assume that is from overpumping as well. Kinda wish Bathmate had more thorough instructions for how to do a "perfect" pump lol.

A lot of pumping becomes personal preference since the tube is the same for all men but all men have different shapes and sizes of penis. A flexible tube would be the jump off.
 
I can't stress enough how important it is as a newbie to follow the Supersets directions for the Bathmate. Don't use it for more than 5 minutes at a time, and make sure the majority of your workout is manual. If you leave the Bathmate on too long, you will eventually get discoloration and bruising. You might not notice at first but then suddenly you'll have a purpilish and bruised up dick. I found out the hard way :) I had to take a year off of girth work to get back to normal. Believe me you'll gain more with manual exercises anyway.
Use the Bathmate as a supplement to your exercises, abd then it's an awesome tool to help you realize your gains.
And one of these times, maybe try some 5 second jelqs instead of the 2 second ones... Those pump me up like I'm in my Bathmate but I'm not.
