Hey I'm a 20 year old male and I'm uncut.. I was thinking about getting circumsized but its gonna cost like $5000 so I was going to ask a few questions first. I know this is kind of the opposite of this particular forum since its foreskin restoration but I hope its ok. Well I was too sick as a baby when I was born, I almost died so for some reason they didnt cut me. Now the skin is so tight the head wont come out. Imagine how I feel, I've never even seen the head of my penis <:( So needless to say that's narrowed my sexual activity to near to none cause girls in the States usually dont like uncut especially if the foreskin cant be pulled back at all.. So would it be worth it? The operation? I know thats probably a matter of opinion and is different with everyone but I just want other ppls perspectives first. Also (I should probably and will probably ask a Doc this too) After the operation, during recovery time, would it be ok to take Penis Enlargement pills? The sutures where they sew it up might cause a problem. I didnt know if when/if it started getting bigger if it'd break the sutures (where they sewed it up) or not. <:( Anyone know of any sites that could help? ive looked.. Or has anyone had a similar type thing done? I'd appreciate any help, comments or advice. Thanks.

Neo Enigma,

There are a couple of non-surgical interventions that you can try before resorting to having surgery on your penis. First, try gently stretching the frenar bands. Second, try steroid cream to relax the bands, in conjunction with stretching.

In addition, there is a much less invasive surgical technique that allows you to retain your foreskin (and all those nerve endings) while relieving the phimosis. Read about it here:

http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis/cuckow/

You should also read this:

http://www.norm.org/lost.html

And the rest of the phimosis page:

http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis/

before deciding on circumcision. Don't talk to your doctor about this as he will probably bullshit you, look at how much money he'll make from the deal, but rather decide for yourself if you really want to loose part of your dick.

If you do decide to go with circumcision, demand the Hollister Plastibel as it causes less trauma, uses no stitches, and leaves more shaft skin. Adult sizes are available, as this is the favored device in Europe.

Think long and hard about this decision. You can't get your foreskin back once it's gone.

Another thing that you mention in your post is Penis Enlargement pills. The informed opinion here is that Penis Enlargement pills do not work.

Manual Penis Enlargement does work and you can do that after the circ site has healed sufficiently, about a month to be safe.

Also, most polls suggest that women by far prefer un-cut penises. Many people can't tell the difference between a cut and an intact penis unless the foreskin is over the glans, so I can see where having a non-retracting foreskin would freak out some American women since they aren't used to intact penises.

What ever you decide to do, good luck!

Neo please read this letter i found on another site, It was writen by a guy with a similiar problem as yours, check alternate procedures before going under the knife.

" Don't know if this is considered associated with restoration or not. Sorry if it isn't. I am interested in restoration but it's impossible at the moment. Anyway. Someone suggested I post about my problem here, so here goes...(sorry about the length).

In May of 2004, I went to hospital to undergo a circumcision to fix a bad case of pin-hole phimosis. The phimosis wasn’t something I had since birth, it began to develop around the age of 12 (I just turned 25) and everything was normal before then. Circumcision was the absolute last thing I wanted but was told by the doctor and surgeon I saw that it was the only option. Having never had sex or a girlfriend, I figured I had to make the sacrifice in order to get on with my life. (It wasn’t until after my operation when I started searching the web for information on my bigger problem that I learned about steroidal creams and stretching exercises which I was never told about).
The circumcision did not go well at all. As it turned out a lot of the foreskin had fused to the glands on the under side of the penile head and around the outer ridge (edge of the glands closest to the shaft). I thought there may have been some sort of fusion problem on the underside and mentioned it to my surgeon in a pre-surgery consultation. He told me it was just my frenulum. I asked him if he was sure, he said yes and being a medical professional I trusted him. Obviously now I realize he barely gave it a thought.
This fusion occurs on the entire underside of the penile head, beginning at or just below the urinary hole (which has now been made a little smaller) running back to the shaft with the frenulum literally buried by the remaining foreskin. So now it’s like I’ve been partially circumcised as there is still a lot of foreskin stuck to my glands. The foreskin that remains on the underside is much worse than anyone reading this would imagine. Here the surgeon hasn’t just left the foreskin which was stuck to the glans, he seems to have taken the foreskin from the surrounding places, bundled it up and stitched it all together. My penis is completely mutilated. This lump of foreskin that hangs from the underside is huge. It’s about the same size as my penile head when soft. There’s like this double bulb.
As I mentioned the outer ridge of the glands has also been affected. Nearly all of the glands on the upper side are exposed. However in most places the foreskin has been stitched into the outer ridge of the glands instead of around them. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure if the problem with the outer ridge is due to a fusion problem or due to a poor job done by my surgeon. At my post-surgery consultations he only told me that a fusion had occurred on the other side and made no mention of any other areas. He also told me that he had to finish in a hurry because he wasn’t prepared for the fusion problem and the delay caused by that meant he had to hurry to stitch me up before I came out from under the anesthesia. (He was not prepared for it even though I told him I thought it was the case).
My surgeon said the fusion was due to BXO, though I don't think he was entirely sure. I’ve read that BXO is usually indicated by a white ring on the foreskin or white marks on the glands and I had none of this. I’ve seen two urologists since this happened. The first didn’t know and thought I should leave everything as it is (not an option for me), and the second also said he thought it was BXO.
Unfortunately, the fusion isn’t the only problem caused by this. The glands that are exposed are now left in a terrible state, discolored and scarred. This however only seemed to be the case after the glands had dried out after the “circumcision” (if you could call it a circumcision). In the days, or maybe weeks straight after the operation the exposed glands seemed fine. So after all this I’m starting to believe that seeking help and going through with this operation was the worst thing that I could have ever done.
I emailed many people about this. Few have been kind enough to reply. Of those that have done, two have said that I can’t be helped while one, Dr. Gary Alter (an American surgeon who does plastic/reconstructive surgery in this area) said in his brief response that it might be possible to cut away the skin on the underside and that he had performed such operations, but the stitching into the outer ridge could not be fixed. The thing is I’m pretty sure the surgeon stitched the foreskin into the glands on the under side too.
The second urologist I saw in person, however, believes he can cut or peel away all the fused foreskin and restore the shape of the glands but the scarring on the glands cannot be helped. With the mixed opinions I’m getting I’m not sure what to believe.
I don’t want to be told anymore that it still functions properly so everything is fine. The fact is I will absolutely never have sex in this state. So I can’t see it as functioning correctly. It seems I have to a lot of searching to do if I’m ever going to find some hope. (The truth is I have pretty much given up already. I just keep trying because I have nothing else to do before I die).
I have resorted to showering in the dark because it is far too depression to see myself naked. I can’t go anywhere where I’ll have to use a toilet other than my own. I’ve even taken to wrapping plastic wrap around the end of my penis because the feeling of the glands rubbing against my underwear makes me all too aware of my problems. It’s kind of a mental issue. I also hate the idea of my glands being exposed and losing all their feeling.
Obviously this experience has practically killed me. I just can't cope with life anymore. Circumcision was the last thing I wanted to have done but was made to think I'd have to do it if I was to ever have a normal life. Now not only have I lost my foreskin, but my penis is terribly deformed. I have to walk around feeling like my insides are hanging out of me. I've never had sex or had a girlfriend or ever experienced love and now it seems I never will. I’m so tired of this life. I’m so tired of the misery and isolation. Worst of all I am so tired of watching my life waste away while I can’t live it. What pisses me off the most is that this started when I was 12 years old. 12 years old! I never had a chance. (sorry, felt the need to rant…)
That’s about it. I have lots of questions. Most of which I’m sure won’t have answers but I don't know if I should be asking them here being that this forum is for foreskin restoration. "
Sorry for the long post.

Best move is to go see as many doctors as possible and do extensive research on this problem. Many things should be fixable, and it may take a while for you to get to the correct person and the correct information. Check everything they tell you and don't trust anyone 100% but yourself.

Good luck!

Well thanks everyone for the advice. I'll definitely think more about it. Guess I should have asked about the pills BEFORE I ordered them eh? Interesting links, I'll have to look over them. But say I did do the surgery, wouldn't it be most likely that it'll come out normal? I figured there were more successful cases than not with adult circumcision. I definitely dont want to come out deformed. I cant really afford to go doctor to doctor getting different opinions. I have to pay them while I am there and I can pay the procedure month by month.. I wish I woulda just got cut at birth and saved me a lot of trauma! So Penis Enlargement pills dont work huh? I ordered the VigRX.. I thought I did good research on it before I ordered them but of course all the sites are going to praise them. It made sense though... Thanks again and any additional comments or advice are welcome.

From what I've heard the VigRx will give you good wood, but won't give any permanent length or girth gains. Several guys here have used pills, so you can run a search for their results threads. The manual restoration does work: I've been doing this for about three weeks and I've seen 0.5" gains in both flaccid length and BPFSL (bone pressed flaccid stretched length). Look up DLD's Newbie routine.

As far as your foreskin goes, don't be in a hurry about making your decision. Stretching and cortisone cream will work to relax the phimosis, will save you $5000 bucks and a lot of pain, and will give you some breathing room to see what things are like when you can pull the foreskin down while you can still put it back up. There is no magic bullet, unfortunately, it will take a few weeks to loosen it up. However, we just had a guy on this forum a few weeks ago who'd been circ'd for the same reason you're looking into it, and he was cut high and tight, and wasn't too happy with it later.

If you have any questions... post.

Peace.

Hey Neo...

I would READ, READ, READ!
And then shortly thereafter, READ SOME MORE!

I am currently cut and I have worked out/around any problems I might have. But I don't intend to have my sons cut if I ever have any.

I would look at both sides and find out all you can about it. And remember, its YOUR DICK.

Also...as aside and this can be taken up elsewhere---

Gravesubject, where did you get this from?
"Also, most polls suggest that women by far prefer un-cut penises"

I have never seen this and am not aware of any usable polls that show any preference.

kooky--the one and only.

Those polls do exist...but as we have learned from several outspoken members here, they don't count! ;)

Neo, my advise to you would be to stretch and use the creams and get you a nice, loose foreskin to play around with. However, should you decide to just go ahead and have it whacked off, all I can say is cross your fingers AND your toes.

You are right Kong, they do exist....but the last time I saw the "poll" debate, the poll you used and the poll Swank used were both equally worthless. So, unless there are new "polls" out there that I have not read about, then the one you (originally) used and the one Swank used are meaningless due to the subject Data.

kook

haha...i dont feel like getting into this right now...kooky, any poll that was presented and could be presented is equally worthless by that logic, thus making it an unproveable statement, and your objection to graves opinion equally worthless...believe what you want to believe...go with what makes tghe most sense...blah goodnight folks i'm going sleepytime now

Boy...more touchy than usual tonight Kong? You know me. You know I am usually right down the middle with this stuff(FR). But I do call bs when I see it from either side.

I did NOT object to graves opinion. I objected to only ONE statement...
"Also, most polls suggest that women by far prefer un-cut penises"

To which I replied,
"I have never seen this and am not aware of any usable polls that show any preference."

Also, for the record, I told the original poster to read ASAP and that it was his DICK. I also told him I would never have it done to a son of mine.

The only 2 polls I have seen in this section was the one posted by you, and the one posted by Swank. I found both to be worthless.

Yours was worthless due to the garnering of test subjects..from anti-circ mags and publications.

Swanks was worthless due to the lack of significant amount of test subjects.

If there are any other polls, I am not aware of them and said that.

kook

To add---

To re-hash it all again as memory best serves me right now;

Kong's poll was useless because it garnered women from an anti-circ publication or something of that nature. The anaology can be made that I could take a poll of women's opinion about abortion but only use women who are involved in the right to life movement...I would get very skewed results.

Swanks poll was useless as there were not ENOUGH test subjects. If I remember right there were only like 16-20 women in the poll who had actually had both cut and uncut cock...not nearly enough for a meaningful poll.

So, how is that faulted logic?

kook

Just to clarify, swank's poll was useless because only 20% of the women polled had even had sex with both cut and uncut men. Also, the women chosen for the poll were new mothers who had just had their baby sons circumcised. Interestingly, 20% of the respondents claimed they enjoyed uncut over cut. Coincidence? You decide! However, let's not let this thread, which is devoted to Neo's problem and questions, get hijacked by this old chestnut.

You are right Kong....so I will address it in a new thread.

I agree that we should hijack someone else post who had an honest
question in mind. My apoligies to everyone here.

And to Neo...take mine and others advice here and just learn as much as you can and
if you do decide on a surgery I would make sure I trusted the doctor and took
off as little as possible.

kooky

Ah now Kong, go back and read the poll info again. Kooky's right, it doesn't mean much because of the small test group and I'd also say there's a regional bias, but you're misquoting the numbers, the women who had both did not prefer uncut in the poll. Kooky explained to you how you were misreading the data in great detail so I won't do it again.

Also, to the guy who started the thread, listen to the others. Read a lot, talk to doctors, don't take anybody's word for it, you've only got one dick. Most of what you will find on the internet is total horseshit, so approach everything with a skeptical eye.

That does sound like a lot of money. But you are better off keeping what you have in the long run. Plus I wouldn't want to go through with the recovery period after the surgery.

Think of it this way, I have to stretch for 12-18 months to get to my goal. You only need to stretch for a month or two.

This is a pretty good guide.
