I don't want to sound redundant here, since there was just a thread on lig "pops," but I'm curious as to what causes them and if they're good/bad/etc.

I had one this a.m. too when stretching, I only feel a little soreness now, nothing big, but it is kinda freaky to have that happen, lol. :O

Anyone know why they happen and what's happening when it does that? What are the distinctions between a good "pop" and a bad "pop."

I feel just a little more soreness than usual, is that ok?

Heres it explained from my head, bare with me.;

Lig pops and burns aint anything to worry about.
The pop is caused when the ligament moves outta place some, goes over the bone and air under it as that moves pops - pressure.....thats all it is, like when knuckles are popped or toes etc etc.

This in some cases....can mean a sign of good things ????? < No facts to back it up, but some say it helps.
Some me are more prone to these than others as well - just like with knuckle pops etc.

I dont get them much at all and have had about 3 in my life down their...all were caused from extreme hardcore stretching actions.

The pop should and does not hurt......although you may feel some soreness around the pubic base area...this is sgn of a good ligament workout anyway and may not be anything to do with the pops.

If you feel pain when you pop than it aint a normal one and you should stop.

Ligament Burns

These are VERY common, IMHO thses are signs that your stretching as good as you can.
Very easy to trigger these off, just stretch the ligs and apply a reverse kegel [flexes the PC reverse and exposes the ligs fully]...this will get you that burn feeling.

The burn feeling is caused by a hormone, beggining with P' cant remember what????? but I think its short name is Penis Enlargement-1??? anyways that stops the ligs from burning down their when strteched.
If the ligs are maximum expanded to the furthest points they can safely go than the burn sets in as the Penis Enlargement-1 can not keep it held back anymore and as a result casues a chemical reaction that creates the burn.

Some men like with the pops may be more prone to this.......if ya have more Penis Enlargement-1 than it'll be harder to get these and if lower levels than itll be easyer......maybe these lower levels have summut in common with how strong the ligaments actually are????? come to think of it that makes sense as low levels of Penis Enlargement-1 would give a burn easyer at any stretch lig-wise, so not as much force needed so the ligs cant be as strong? < just a theory.

Now the burners can be uncomfortable and feel similer to those that we get when we goto the gym and do bicep work...near the end that burn feeling running thru tha arm.....like that, but more sharp.

Now again like with the pops pain should not be fealt....I always used to get these deliberatly on the border-line of pain....I would be nearly in agony when doing these...I know my line if you do than try it also, if not dont go their as if you feel the slightest bit of - it feels like a tearing pain....than stop as if you continue than the lig will be damaged, can get torn or the tendons damaged.

But its hard to knacker up the ligs/tendons from this, they are sooo strong.

Also dont feel its neccasary to HAVE TO GET pops and burns each time ya exercise.....IMHO burns show GREAT signs, but thats me....some feel Pops are good....I aint saying their bad cos they aint but I aint convinced that pop = gorwth.

Anyways I hope this has helped you as the original has been deleed, all wrote and reasearched by me too.

#1 Pops and burns DO NOT have to happen in oder to have a good workout....some people are more prone to these than others.

#2 NO..DO NOT pull harder to make it happpen - a lig pop that is as if you dont get them easy fuck it..its like ya knuckles cracking, some get it some dont.
I would however go that bit further to get the burn feeling.

well, I get both burns and pops alot, I probably get a pop at least once a week (for thelast couple weeeks at least, and I get the burn whenever I've been doing a lot of stretching
 
We must take care that, although stretching seems to be important for lengthening, if we stretch the suspensory ligament of the penis, which is meant to hold the penis up and give it that healthy youthful angle, we might end up with an erection pointing to the horizon instead of upwards.
 
would stretching up help it come up, because my erection points horizontal, has forever, and I'm kinda jealous how other point up.

It's never happened before, but i don't want someone to say "what the hell is wrong with that" when I get an erection ?:(
 
Fallen, I think you can make your angle go up by doing PC work. Lots of it. DLD's points almost straight up even after all the lig work he's done, and he says it's from the PC stuff.

Oh, and guys, remember that if you have a lig pop and then your penis hangs sideways, that's a bad pop.

I havent had this shift with lig pops, BUT My cock hangs SLIGHT to the left, I mean the angle does, this is from a BAD session/s I had when hanging ages back, I pulled one ligament more than the other hahahah its easy fixed but It dunt bother me, but I suppose this could happen with lig pops??????
 
Where do you feel lig pops...in the base, or elsewhere? I've felt something "weird" while doing A-stretches, but it has always been in the middle of my shaft, like something shifting over something else, always at least halfway up my shaft during an a-stretch. Do lig-pops happen more at the base of the shaft? or where?

My three came in the pubic base region.
 
My erection is slightly sideways. I don't quit remember having a pop, but it may have been possibly.

Another thing I think might have to do with me being sideways is when I was younger I always jacked it with my right hand. Now I'm using my left to see if that helps any.
 
Yeah I thought I was stretching intense before, but a few weeks ago I was trying DLD's footlongs for the first time and GODDAMN!! It scared the shit outta me when it first happened cause it never happened to me before but i had heard you guys talk about it before so i soon clamed down, a few minutes later I started again and POP. It was near the base I think, and the next day it burned like a bastard. Felt cool though, I def. recommend the footlongs.

I had my first lig pop this morning. It was a slight bit of pain and I felt a feeling not dissimilar to that of cracking your knuckles and heard a similar sound too. Feels a little sore now but nothing extreme.
 
i was doing the n00b stretches last night, and when i started jelqing there was some sort of movement on the left side of my penis as my right hand moved up the shaft. it didn't hurt, but could this have been a lig pop?

also, i couldn't get an erection-a few minutes of adult entertainment fixed the problem though. then after i got back to jelqing the movement <pop?> eventually stopped. help?:(
 
I am quite worried right now, and I'd like some advice please. But first, here's some background:

I had tried pumping on a few occasions in the past (who hasn't?) but had never kept at it for more than 2 or 3 weeks because of the 'do-nut' effect, or just my lack of conviction that it would result in any permanent gain. Thanks datdude. Perhaps lig pops are something like the pops and crackles you get in your joints sometimes. (My son makes his knuclkes pop and crack - I hate that!)

Upon re-reading my post I realise I was pretty worried back then. It frightened me enough to make me stop doing stretches. I don't think I needed to be so worried, as all seemed to be well within a day or two. In fact I have a feeling that I was probably making some good gains at the time. I'm still taking a break from pe at the moment as I have a million and one things to do at the moment, but I'm looking forward to resuming as soon as I can.
 
I always used to get lig pops when stretching downwards, that scared me into not doing them much since I HATE lig pops. I don't know why but it scares the shit out of me, my heart starts beating like crazy! :P

Anyway, now that I've started to do Penis Enlargement again after a couple of years I don't get lig pops at all, no matter in what angle I'm stretching! Weird...
 
Once again I have to say that I'm pretty damn sure that I have pulled my penis partially away from my pubic bone. I had kind of forgotten about this issue and recently re-introduced a few stretches back into my routine. I didn't get lig pops, but I did get a strange kind of soreness yesterday following a nice long fuck with my wife (I can hear the shouts of 'I should be so lucky'). This is a slight soreness low down in the middle of my pubis, and when I push my finger between my cock and the pubic bone I'm pretty sure it feels different down there - like it isn't attached except right at the lowest part of the bone. I don't think it's always been like this.

I don't know if we have many nerve endings in those ligs so it might be easier than we thought to tear the ligs. Could it be that length gains come from tearing the ligs away from the pubis, in much the same way as surgeons cut the ligs to lengthen the penis? Or does anyone know for sure that tearing those ligs DEFINITELY causes a lot of pain?

Well done for bumping this thread.
Since I scared myself by straining my ligs - well, that's the best description I can come up with - I kind of avoided pe for a few months. If I did tear any ligs I think they mended, because I don't seem to have done any permanent damage.
To answer your first question:
During my few months of rest I got my wife to measure me - I thought she'd be kind of impartial - and I made a note of her measurements. She measured my bone pressed erect length as 6.5" which is probably more 'correct' than my self measured 6.75". So, no length gains to report.
I resumed pe a couple of months ago, concentrating on girth work, but I have recently added a few stretches. All seems good so far. Feels like I might be making girth gains but I won't really know until I lay off pe for a few weeks and get myself measured. I don't intend to do that for a while yet.

To answer your second question (and it was nice of you to ask): I'm fine
