Heres it explained from my head, bare with me.;
Lig pops and burns aint anything to worry about.
The pop is caused when the ligament moves outta place some, goes over the bone and air under it as that moves pops - pressure.....thats all it is, like when knuckles are popped or toes etc etc.
This in some cases....can mean a sign of good things ????? < No facts to back it up, but some say it helps.
Some me are more prone to these than others as well - just like with knuckle pops etc.
I dont get them much at all and have had about 3 in my life down their...all were caused from extreme hardcore stretching actions.
The pop should and does not hurt......although you may feel some soreness around the pubic base area...this is sgn of a good ligament workout anyway and may not be anything to do with the pops.
If you feel pain when you pop than it aint a normal one and you should stop.

Ligament Burns
These are VERY common, IMHO thses are signs that your stretching as good as you can.
Very easy to trigger these off, just stretch the ligs and apply a reverse kegel [flexes the PC reverse and exposes the ligs fully]...this will get you that burn feeling.
The burn feeling is caused by a hormone, beggining with P' cant remember what????? but I think its short name is Penis Enlargement-1??? anyways that stops the ligs from burning down their when strteched.
If the ligs are maximum expanded to the furthest points they can safely go than the burn sets in as the Penis Enlargement-1 can not keep it held back anymore and as a result casues a chemical reaction that creates the burn.
Some men like with the pops may be more prone to this.......if ya have more Penis Enlargement-1 than it'll be harder to get these and if lower levels than itll be easyer......maybe these lower levels have summut in common with how strong the ligaments actually are????? come to think of it that makes sense as low levels of Penis Enlargement-1 would give a burn easyer at any stretch lig-wise, so not as much force needed so the ligs cant be as strong? < just a theory.
Now the burners can be uncomfortable and feel similer to those that we get when we goto the gym and do bicep work...near the end that burn feeling running thru tha arm.....like that, but more sharp.
Now again like with the pops pain should not be fealt....I always used to get these deliberatly on the border-line of pain....I would be nearly in agony when doing these...I know my line if you do than try it also, if not dont go their as if you feel the slightest bit of - it feels like a tearing pain....than stop as if you continue than the lig will be damaged, can get torn or the tendons damaged.
But its hard to knacker up the ligs/tendons from this, they are sooo strong.
Also dont feel its neccasary to HAVE TO GET pops and burns each time ya exercise.....IMHO burns show GREAT signs, but thats me....some feel Pops are good....I aint saying their bad cos they aint but I aint convinced that pop = gorwth.
