Wanted to update:
Struggling doing 6 hours a day but I'm going to try a bit harder. Also-I can see that where the clear plastic of the base connects to the black plastic of the outer tubes-it is pretty weak. Seems likely to break if you're not careful there. Mine has definitely weakened. I see this as a design flaw. It is obvious that the best device would be kind of a mix between ME and [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words]. There is no question to me now that the idea behind ME is very superior to that of [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words]: That is, that tension is increased much more easily. I believe with [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words] you can only change the stretch by about 1 inch perhaps without taking the device off via using the screw or whatever. With ME, I can move this thing forward 6" without removing it, and it would take less than 30 seconds to do it. So the design is superior in my opinion, period.
But I do think that perhaps the base and the inner tubes should be metal or just one piece of hard plastic instead of 2 (hinge connects to inner tube). If it was one piece instead of 2 it would be MUCH stronger, and no metal would be needed-this might be the best as I hear the metal can be cold.
On the bright side, I called Male Edge, no hold time, got straight to a person. They said they'd send a replacement base out today for free. I'll follow up on this customer service issue. However, I think it could happen again so I'm going to look at plumber's clamps for adding strength to the connection perhaps and also modify how I use it to minimize torque on these connector pieces. The plastic is very hard and tough... but where this connection occurs it is much skinnier and weaker-so again, it's a design flaw. I'll keep folks updated.

Update-End of Week 8.
So I've been pretty sloppy the last 2 weeks-working a lot and found it difficult to do 6 hours. Even missed probably 4 days in this period. As a result, didn't get the gains I had hoped for during this period, but I did see gains, including Girth gains. 6 hours is a bitch, and my leg strap appears to put quite a bit of added stress on the device so I stopped using it. My wife still hasn't noticed (or at least hasn't verbalized it) so I think I'm gonna keep going a bit longer without telling her-I really want HER to bring it up dammit!
So I measured yesterday, but I do plan to take more measurements for the sake of accuracy, and found the following:
NBPFL: 4.0" (this is an increase of 0.1")
NBPenis EnlargementL: 6.5" (this is an increase of 0.3")
MSEG: 5.5" (this is an increase of 0.16")
Also, I was only maybe 90% erect so it's possible these increases are larger. EQ is a bit weaker, but I was also sloppy on kegels (was trying to do every other day).
The goals had been: 4.25", 6.76", and 5.66 respectively-so I believe if I had stuck to the regimen, I would have hit the goals, but penis stretching for 6 hours a day when you work a lot is a bit of a bitch eh.

So I'm back in the swing of it (so far), had a rocky couple of weeks with some 0 days, some 1-3 hour days, pretty inconsistent and sloppy. Really trying to get back to consistently doing 6 hours per day in the Male Edge [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]Extender[/words].
Just added a new mod, which was 2 hose clamps at the base to strengthen the parts where the base meets the inner rods to avoid any breakage like before on the device. So far the mod looks pretty good-I'm wearing it for the first time with the mods today. My current stats are 6.5" NBPenis EnlargementL and 5.5 MSEG.
Currently in the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extender[/words], I'm stretching to at least 7.5" (NBPSL). I'd really like to hit 8" soon as I bet that will also translate into erect gains. Also, I'm stretching at around 2600g, which I believe is a lot compared to what people do in the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words] (half that?).
I've also finally bought some more junk-a heating pad for one. However, a lot of the time I know I won't be able to warm up first before putting the stretcher on as I'll be at my office. But for the nightly session at home, I'll definitely warm up and warm down.
Also bought some vaseline as I want to start working on girth as well, even though the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extender[/words] is giving girth gains. I'd love to hit 6.5" in girth, that would be HUGE, but anything past that might be too big in my opinion. But currently, I'm still just focused on [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extender[/words] work with a warm up.
2600g might sound like a lot, but I just worked up to it and it's pretty comfortable, it can start to hurt after about an hour, but I've worn it up to 3 hours at 2000g so I think I can work up to it comfortably.
I also plan to try J1L's "T-Shirt wrap" to see how it adds to my stretching routine as far as comfort goes. I don't really have slippage issues with my current wrap, but I'm always interested in additional comfort.
Lastly-I'm still thinking of ways to make the [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extender[/words] virtually invisible with baggy pants. With much movement-it tends to work its way forward so you have a bulge. And it's still too noticeable for a high profile professional, which I am.

I did tell my wife about it finally and she was very excited. I'm her first so she has nothing to compare me to (other than the ridiculous pornos she's seen with me) so she's excited to experience the variety Penis Enlargement will provide. She's very supportive and interested and now I hang out with her at night with it on and she also provides rewards-so it's out in the open now and it's made it easier to do (since I can wear it openly at night now). She also commented that she thought it was getting bigger but didn't think that was possible, so never said anything. Follow up: So the device broke again a few days ago. I still say the design is superior to [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words], but the crappy plastic hinge creates a bit of a problem once you get to high pressure.
So gotta say-DLD wasn't exaggerating with the "Pez Despenser" remark. However, telescoping tubes, with the outer ones being hard plastic instead of cold metal is still superior to screwing rods, no doubt in my mind on that.
Now back to the issue-lucky for me, it was the left arm that broke this time, so I was able to fix it with the good left arm from my first male edge. Then put my reinforcements on the arms like I showed and it's as good as new... for now. So what I did solves the problem where the clear plastic meets the inner black tube, but the arm itself, that comes off the hinge at the base is where it broke the 2nd time. They are sending me 2 sets of arms as all the other pieces are rock solid, no questions asked, for free.
Also-I emailed [words=https://track.moreniche.com/hit.php?w=113512&s=1220]Jes[/words] about it, and he personally wrote me back saying he agreed about the straps sucking and also about the hinge piece being weak. He said they are trying out what I said which is metal hinges and inner tubes and think they'll have it done within the next 6 weeks. If they do it properly (ie how I, Crazy Doc, said to do it) it should be the best [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]extender[/words] yet to date.
He also said he was sending me one for free to try out. Pretty cool company and pretty cool CEO, that's how to do business.
So I see flaws with Male Edge, but if they can be overcome with cleverness as I've done, then it's still way superior to anything with rods I think. Telescoping is just a better concept than adding rods. But clearly with mega tension-some metal in the right places is also a requirement. Interested to see how it goes and to try out their new one when they are done.
Either way, killer company and so far they've been quick enough fixing problems that I haven't even missed one day of extending.

while reading this thread i was wondering, how long you can handle this male edge without destroying it. about 2 months ago, i ordered one. i am experienced in manual Penis Enlargement and also pumping, so i can handle a lot - male edge unfortunatley not ... after 3 times using it, it broke the first time.. i could fix it with loctite, cause it only was a small piece of plastic .. another 5 times later, the whole thing broke and i threw it away. then i ordered [words=https://shop.mattersofsize.com/products/sizegenetics-penis-extender]SG[/words] and i think my dick isnt that strong to destroy steel
