Hey guys (=

I know that this has been up before.

But what is the general opinion about rest days?

Currently i am doing 5 days on 2 days off.
I only jelq, with about 50-70 erection level.

From tomorow i will stop taking rest days and do it 7 days a week.

And one more guestion.

A lot of people are saying that you can't gain girth and length at the same time.
Whats your opinion about that?

My opinion is that:

Length- Length does not require rest. Length must (should) be done every day. What you actually want to achieve while stretching/hanging is fatigue. While you are fatigued you want to use that moment to ride the wave. Once your ligs/tunica heal they become much tougher and harder to stretch to a level where you achieve fatigue.

Girth- Girth, unlike length- requires a good level of EQ and girth sessions are much more intense than length sessions. You are manipulating huge amount of blood and you are forcing them to stay in your shaft for as long as possible. Once you overdo girth you can not only damage yourself, but you can weaken your EQ as well (which is not good for your next girth session). Now girth rest depends on the intensity of your routine. If you do some light jelqs I would advise you not to rest, but if you do SSJs, Clamping or any type of intense girth work- having rest days is a MUST :).

And yes, it is possible to gain both simultaneously :)

Thanks for the reply (=

So if i do this routine, i should be able to do it every day?

Warm up - about 15 minutes with rice sock

2 times stretching to 4 different side 40 sec each

20 minutes jelqing with 50-70 erect level.

Warm down - 5 - 10 minutes.

Btw. I want girth, but length won't bother me (=
Going for 1 inch girth.

Why start a newbie routine, when i have been jelqing for over 13 months. ?
I do gain small amount with my routine.

Well I missed that you've been PE-ing for over a year now, sorry. But man- the routine you wrote above is more of a routine someone new should do (looks less intense than the newbie routine). You have been doing PE for over a year and you still do this? Doesn't your penis require a little more now? If you're seeing gains with that- that's the way to go mate! But if you do not see gains- I would advise you to change to something more intense (like the newbie routine). :)

UhHydromax ?

I don't understand, whats the difference between my routine and the stated newbie routine?

In terms of length- that you are stretching 2 times in 4 sides. In the newbie routine you should stretch 30 sec. for a total of 9 sets for every side- cause you work in 3 different angles. What I understood from what you wrote- you just stertch for 40 sec., for 2 sets for each side (and did not include multiple angles). I might not have understood you well, but that's what I got from what you wrote.

In terms of girth- 20 mins of jelq-ing should be less than the 600 jelqs in the newbie routine (when you do them with good EQ (cause when I lose my EQ while jelq-ing- I get it back (this takes a few minutes sometimes) and resume where I have stopped) and for 2 sec. each stroke- it takes ME (but that's only me) more than 20 minutes).

In terms of overall exercise- in the newbie routine there are kegels, and they are an important part of PE.

That is why I think that the newbie routine is more intense than yours :).

I think a day off here and there is good for you mentally and physically. I pretty much PE every day and when I feel I need a day off I take it.

But won't that be bad for length? I mean- reaching fatigue and riding it is what we need here. :)

Well to be honest, i don't believe more is better. That's why i only jelq 20 minutes. Never saw the reason to do 30 or even 40 minutes of jelqing.
So in my opinion you don't need to intense your routine, and if you don't gain with 20 minutes of jelqing, then you won't gain with 30 minutes, that's how i see it.
If you don't gain with a current routine, you may want to figure if you are doing something wrong instead, i have caught myself doing lazy jelqs or simply wrong jelqs. Why? Because i wasn't paying attention.

I agree with you that more is not always better, however you have to consistently make your routine more intense. Your penis will adapt to your level of intensity and you have to step it up to keep it growing.

I may have to disagree a bit on this be, I started doing pe with 20 min no substantial increase but when I switch to 30 min I saw 3/8 gains!!

Like zembro said, listen to your body, if u feel like rest u rest if not u go for it. Each body is different.

so from what i understand after the newbie routine rest days aren't really necessary unless you feel like you need one

Sumarized- when you go for length- no rest. When you go for girth- you need good EQ and therefore need more rest. :)

Exactly and when timed right they both influence each other in the most positive way. Being fatigued can be the best opportunity to gain length so if you have had some good girth sessions in an find eq falling jump on the length wagon and start hitting it hard there.

What does EQ stand for?
