Is it better to use the SG for longer periods with low intensity or short periods at high tension? My SG package didn't come with a manual so I just wanted to know with method is best for results.
 
I would build up hours at low tension then increase the tension.
 
Thanks for the quick reply. Reason I asked is because I can last about an hour at low tension but when I set it at high I can only go half hour. I have been using the SG for about 3 weeks now and very impressed with the gains I have made on my BPFS
 
What's the issue that has you take it off at the higher tension? shaft burn, scrotum burn, numb gland, etc?
 
Actually all three lol. My ligs feel like there's broken glass in them. That's good pain I assume?
 
Yeah thats them getting worked. Super set between the two so u can recovery stretched out.
 
High tension for a long period of time will get you faster gains.
I go for hour sets then take a 5 minute break with massage everywhere it hurt.
I am then good to go for another hour.
Ideally you want lig burn and shaft burn or I think the gains would be much slower.
The burn is the signal that you are micro tearing the tissue which is what you want.

I think there is going to be some pain involved if you wanna gain-just my opinion.If it was easy every man would have a monster dick.
The key is trying to minimize the pain and i'm taking low or mild pain not pain where you have injured your body.

I'd just use around 1000 - 1200g tension. That's what the studies used.
That's still quite a low tension overall though I"d say.

This is bro-science at best. There's no way you're reaching lig fatigue by extending. The SG doesn't even pull on them. Also: You're still reaching shaft fatigue by extending 1200g after hanging 20lbs? Seems hardly plausible. I believe you're feeling the skin being stretched which the VLC setup is very prone to.

Just for comparison: I don't feel a great deal when inside the SG except for attachment point soreness and scrotum pain. Neither are indicators for gains and it's working just fine (combined with manual stretches & light hanging 4.5lbs)

Read the article on extenders and the research done.In the studies the guys extending at higher tension got faster and more gains on average than those at lower tension.

They do state that your penis is lengthened in 2 ways -along the shaft and from stretching the ligs at the base.
When I stretch at high tension I feel burn in my ligaments.

Also at high tension(meaning the springs are completely compressed and then some) I get a burn along my entire shaft.Sounds like your experience is different.

All that matters tho is that you are gaining!

I can't put it on full tension for longer than 30 minutes at a time. I just need to get circulation back in my dick for a few seconds or I'll start walking with a limp.

Which article are you talking about? I remember a few but not what you're stating.

DLD said it's all on the way you wrap. I changed up my wrapping method and just finished 4 - 1 hour sessions @ full tension with minimal pain. Seeing good results so far with the SG.
 
I felt the same shaft burn with the velcro mod but couldn't bear the pain to go at a higher tension to get lig burn.

The article with the studies I mentioned are in the only blog article I posted here.Its long but has some good information.

I get more and more the feel that in Penis Enlargement its not about "either this or that" but more about "both".
I just use the extender for some weeks now but it feels good to warm it up with some longer low tension and then do some short high tension workout. Then I pause and repeat the process aiming to get more extender tension the next day.
