So...for almost a year now I've been doing PE. I've noticed edging is super difficult for me immediately after my workouts. I can't go very long at all...or if I can I'm constantly at a start stop pace.

Within the past 3 months I've really been trying to increase my stamina to an hour with the wife. I'm not there....but sure is fun practicing.

I don't want to train my nervous system to be so delicate and I worry training after my workouts is counterproductive to my stamina goal.

On a cellular level I'm worried I'm creating neuronal cells and associated synapses to "fire" too early during the edging process....partly because they have already been depolarizer during the 20-30 minute PE session.

My question is......does anyone else edge immediately after a PE session? And if so.....are most more or less sensitive?

Sounds weird but the more sensitive the better as you will be able to feel that point of no return to stop it. Overtime you will lose some of this sensitivity giving you the ability to last as long as you like. Today I can go forever and cum on command so it is worth the time investment.

It's not weird. A lot of any routine will have the glans become sensitive due to the intense force in whatever manner you do your exercises. So it'll make your edging experience lack longevity.
 
I like to do a bit of edging after my stretching/BM workout, and I do it in the shower (which heightens the experience). I'm similar to DLD, I can go as long as I wish and just need to switch my brain into 'cum-mode' and within a few minutes I can finish. I try to fatigue my d!ck as much as possible and then see if I can force my EQ to 100%...sometimes yes, sometimes no (either way I can either edge or be satisfied that my session was so intense that I need rest).

The SlowSquashJelq will help with the head being oversensitive since that upper palm is pushing against the head, eventually you will become able to last much longer.

Yeah I can't tell if its because I leave my head uncovered from the skin that my glans are becoming less sensitive or because of the SSJ

that is a good thing, this will build your endurance and allow you to go longer and longer in bed.

Once you start to practice mastery comes quickly, it is as much a mind game as it is a physical one.

I know mental techniques to keep me from reaching the PONR and or not cumming during the PONR. I've also developed physical techniques and my glans are getting less sensitive to last longer so thats a plus.

Btw, all those: "Oh think of something disgusting or something else" never really worked for me, and I'm still of the opinion that sex is something sacred that should be shared in the moment

Everyone is different but my ways may only work for me. Mentally I prepare by tricking myself into believing im too tired to have sex and I make it something enjoyable BUT while distracting myself with other thoughts. This is the difficult part because you feel the sensation. This is where the physical preparation comes in. You reverse kegel as to get away from the PONR. There's a trick to go completely flaccid or kill a boner but I don't know how to describe it to someone else. I can do it on command if i have a boner and kill it instantly.

Becoming in touch with your orgasm

When you feel that you are getting too close to orgasm, just completely stop and take a deep breath. Give yourself a minute or two to reset your mental orgasm. You will find with practice this process will give you longer and longer periods of staying power. Eventually this mental reset will happen automatically with no pause.

The Squeeze Techniques

BASE SQUEEZE: at the brink of orgasm stop, take a deep breath. Using the OK grip squeeze the base of your penis and squeeze until the urge has faded.

UP SQUEEZE: at the brink of orgasm stop, take a deep breath. Using the forefinger and thumb squeeze the top and bottom of your penis just below the glans until the urge to orgasm has faded.

The DLD Push is a technique to prolong orgasm and remain erect after orgasm. This method involved a hard reverse kegel right at the brink of orgasm. It takes some practice but once it is mastered 4-5 orgasms are possible.
